Plot: Reader and Chris end up going on a date alone, because Alex Shelley and her best friend set them up, both knowing how much they both like each other.

First time writing about him and at some point I'll write something with Alex Shelley as well. I love this two to the moon and back.
Y/N should have understood sooner, that something was strange. Annika, her best friend, would talk many times with Alex Shelley, which was weird since she couldn't stand that man.
At the next show, Annika grins at her. "I know that after the shows you normally prefer to go to the hotel and rest, but come on, we should enjoy ourselves." She bumps her shoulder against Y/N's, playfully.
Y/N rolls her eyes at those words, chuckling. "Okay, but only because I am not wrestling tonight, I only have a segment."
"You should really learn to go out more, Y/N. Or you'll die alone, no man, no kids, noone." Annika laughs. "Meet me at the Pizza place just down the street from the hotel at 9 pm."
"Fine. I'll be there, go get ready for your interviews!"
Y/N shakes her head and wheels her suitcase to her locker room, getting ready for her interview later in the show.
"Come on Chris, let's go to that pizza place down the road, after the show. I really want to eat some pizza." Alex tries to convince his best friend and tag team partner since forever, while the latter gets ready for their match.
"Well, okay, but let's not stay too late, we have an early flight tomorrow." Chris is the most reasonable between them, but he could get away with eating out instead of at catering once in a while.
"Yes, whatever you want." Alex gets ready as well, before taking his phone and messaging Annika, that Chris will be there later.
After the show, Y/N gets ready in her hotel room, wearing a cute black dress and curling her hair. When done, she takes her bag and gets out of the room, walking to the pizza place her best friend mentioned.
Looking around, she doesn't see anyone, so she waits, about to text Annika when Chris gets there as well. 9 pm goes past and Y/N sighs as the other two don't show up.
"Those two idiots set us up, right?" She asks, her cheeks pink from blushing. Y/N has a crush on him ever since they met, but has never said anything to him.
"It looks like they have." He says amused. "Typical Alex, I should have imagined this was his plan." He chuckles.
"Well, since we are here, let's take this opportunity. If you don't mind of course." She blushes even more, never so blunt as with him.
"Let's go, I don't mind at all, Y/N." He opens the door for her and asks for a private table for two, even taking the chair back for her, to help her sit down.
"You are a gentleman Chris, thank you." Y/N can't help but blush and smile, sitting comfortably at the table.
"You are very welcome."
They spend the night eating pizza and chatting, both feeling good with each other. Talks about their families, her hometown... Everything that came to their mind, as if they didn't want that date to end.
"I am glad they set us up. I probably would have never been able to ask you out." Y/N admits as they go out, walking.
"I really enjoyed this evening and am glad as well that they did. It was really special with you." Chris smiles at her and takes a hand in his.
"I..." Y/N blushes, looking at her feet for a moment, before looking back into his beautiful eyes. "I always had a crush on you, Chris. Now that you are here in WWE as well, it feels stronger than it ever was."
Chris grins and takes her close to his chest, closing his eyes as he lets his lips kiss hers. He is ready to let her go, if she doesn't want that, but he is happy when she doesn't try to get away from him.
"I think this kiss means more than just some words, doesn't it?" He whispers on her lips, intertwining his hand in hers.
"Yes, it does, Chris. Thank you for all of this. You are so special and now you are mine."
"Exactly. I am all yours and you are all mine."
Annika grins as she sees them kissing, elbowing Alex playfully. "It worked! Perfect!"
