The Bathers - Dreamless (1999)
After his group Friends Again broke up, Scottish singer Chris Thomson formed the Bathers. While Friends Again were exuberant, jangly pop, the Bathers were (are?) melancholy and dramatic.

TREKMATCH! # 606 - Lower Decks' "Second Contact" vs 1997's Trucks
TRUCKS
Trucks and other devices start coming to life and killing humans in this completely forgettable TV adaptation of the same short story that gave us the incredible Maximum Overdrive. Hey, never let it be said being a coked out alcoholic in the 80s didn't do at least one good thing for Stephen King! There is one funny scene where a Tonka truck kills a mailman though.
GRADE: F
STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS - "Second Contact"
A group of lowly ensigns who sleep in the hall of a pretty unimportant starship work together to stop a zombie plague even though it's the bridge crew who gets all the credit. It's a little manic on first viewing but after getting into the rhythm of Lower Decks it's a funny intro.
GRADE: C+
Victory to Trek, so movies are up 306-300!
Stephen King is down to Trek 16-19!
