Human ears are boring, elf ears on the other hand are 🔥
I think I got a bit distracted, also couldn’t find a good gif of just Galadriel and her ears

erebus, sundogs, franklin, go for broke? :)
Thank you! I will leave franklin for another ask, but as for the other three
erebus - what scenes are your favourite and least favourite from the show?
hmm, favourites are interesting. i love love love hodgson's speech to goodsir at mutiny camp, it's an absolute showstopper of a performance in a cast that is absolutely stacked with actors at the very top of their game. i also very much enjoy the moment where little is ultimately backed into a corner and has to allow armitage and tozer to hand out the guns. though he tries to wrest back some control - getting armitage to make notes - we know and he senses that there is an irrevocable turning point. mcnulty is a master of the tiny moments (little has few big scenes, but dozens of moments where he is doing the absolute most just off focus) and he shines in this role.
as for least favourite? it's an unpopular opinion and I absolutely don't want to hear anything about it - the jopson promotion scene. it just feels clunky to me and the more i rewatch, the less enthused i get. it's cute! but. eh.
sundogs - talk about a moment in the show that interests you most?
aside from any scene of tommy armitage and his complicated emotional journeys? actually, this might be a good one. there's a fantastic scene towards the end where tozer, pilkington and armitage discuss hickey and the idea is floated that maybe something is going terribly wrong and they could do something else. it's an intensely tragic moment, because it's too far gone for that, both narratively and within the context of their own failing health, and there's a glimmer of recognition of this from armitage. i love the moments of understanding - several of the characters have them - where they hit a certain point and go "ah. yes. this is how things will be." and what they do after that is fascinating.
go for broke - what role do you think you’d be good in on a polar expedition?
soup.
