Chris & KPRi along w/ the help of the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians have teamed up to help neighbors in need all over San Diego County.
All you have to do is nominate a friend just like listener Janet Jones did nominating her friend Amber Wahl telling us her story...
Amber is a struggling single mother of two, a 3 year old and a 1 year old. She's currently going to school to earn a nursing degree. She has one semester left. Amber lives with my sister and myself. We all moved in together 10 months ago to take care of my older sister who was diagnosed with lung cancer. She passed away in October. Throughout the past 10 months Amber not only went to school, took care of her babies, but also helped with the care of my sister. She stayed with my sister through her final hours, giving her whatever care was needed. I would like to repay her for the love and compassion she gave to my sister. I hope you will consider her for the 500 gift certificate. It would make her and her children's Christmas much brighter.
Each day, starting Tuesday, December 9th, we'll be selecting a family to share the spirit with. They'll get a $500 gift certificate to get some presents under the tree, along with a gift certificate to buy Christmas dinner for the family.
