Chris King Open House Recap

Portland, Oregon based power house, Chris King Components, hosts a who’s who Open House to show off their newest colors each year. To compliment these new colors, they invite frame builders from across the world to build bikes to match the freshest Chris King goods. Since BikeFlights.com also calls Portland, Oregon home, we have a great friendship with Chris King Components. Combine that relationship with our service as a key role in the shipping departments for frame builders worldwide, and of course we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the Open House.

Chris King is a short ride down the road from BikeFlights.com’s HQ, so naturally our President, William Alcorn, attended and took opportunity to connect with the builders and show off our new cardboard box prototype. Below are a few photo’s of some of builders who both use BikeFlights.com for all their shipments and for going to and from the Open House.

It was a short trip for Breadwinner Cycles, who are also located in Portland, Oregon.

Adam Sklar, Sklar Bikes made the trip down from Montana with a special build for John Watson of The Radavist.

Also building a mountain bike Sycip Bikes from Santa Rosa, California had this celeste beauty.

Another California based builder Stinner Frameworks brought a stunning disc road bike.

A second frame builder from Montana, Pursuit Cycles brought one of the cleanest paint jobs of the weekend.

Out of Minnesota, Northern Frameworks brought a subtle racing machine.

Coming all the way from Beaumont, France, Victoire Cycles had one of the coolest adventure bike we’ve seen.

Seeing the creations these builders made already has us excited for next years open house.

The last couple months have been exciting here at Stinner! We got to be apart of @chriskingbuzz open house which was a huge success. Best event we have been to!
