I wasn't as fortunate as everyone else to have known Chris Pierce for a long time. But, what I did know... Chris was an intelligent, HILARIOUS, generous, hard-working family man. He was a community man. He gave back and supported others without hesitation. I had seen him around for years, but we spoke for the first time last May. He came by my office to tell me he was opening a local business, Warren Animal Feed and he wanted to support my business by advertising with me. He also let me know he named it WARREN Animal Feed, because it would be a business for us, something the county can call its own. Prior to his grand opening, I stopped by his store to film him while he unloaded a truck. During another visit, he imparted so much wisdom. Chris discussed generational wealth, and how he was preparing his family for the future. We also shared ideas on how our businesses can partner in the near future. He also joked about the friendly competition between him and Jennifer over their sales. The last time we spoke, it was only a few weeks ago, and I asked him how business was going. He informed me that the store was doing extremely well, far exceeding expectations, and that the community had been incredibly supportive. To his beautiful wife, Jennifer and his family and friends who loved him dearly, I'm praying for your strength during this time. You have our love and support. R.I.P. Chris Pierce - We know you have the angels laughing their halos off right now. 🕊🙏🏽 #WarrenAnimalFeed #ChrisPierce #WarrenCounty #NorthCarolina #WarrentonNC #Warrenton #NCblog #252news #Warrenist (at Warren County, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUNuE3mLgsK/?utm_medium=tumblr
