Mmmm sleepy Christmas Eve post

I lost my excitement for presents a long time ago but the whole event is still pretty great, my present to everyone is vibe enhancement for tomorrow, good day for everyone

Hibiya had completely changed his outfit a couple times now. Usually, the prince was the one waiting on Alison to finish worrying about each tiny hair being in a place where she likes. However, now that it was his first party back since traveling, on top of being his Christmas celebration, but of course not forgetting he liked to throw his birthday in the mix as an excuse to have an even bigger party than he already was, well he seemed to be taking his sweet time officially getting it started. 

Even the less immediate implications Hibiya was going to be dealing with were subtle anxieties poking at his thoughts. He had only taken so much time off before after his parents left. Was the prince going to be grilled with the same questioning from every conversation? And after all that time, to still be bringing a woman who maybe not obviously didn’t belong, but it was well enough known. She’s going to cause quite a stir with a whole other set of questions he hadn’t gathered the nerve to ask himself.

With a flick of the wrist, Hibiya pulled his sleeve to check his watch, instead accidentally elegantly smacking a vase on the table that would have certainly crashed next to him had he not stopped it. Holding it with momentary panic, he looked to Alison as if she hadn’t noticed.

       “I’m actually a bit nervous.” He admitted with a forced laugh at himself.
