It’s just... I wish more women on TV were allowed to be total geeks. I wish more women in scifi could be incredible without having to be heat-packing, martial arts prodigies. I wish more women could have absolute respect and complex character growth without being stripped of the characteristics we associate with teenage girls (sensitivity, over-excitement etc.). 

I wish women could express traditionally masculine traits and not be hated on. I wish women could express traditionally feminine traits and not be mocked. 

I wish women could just be. Because they’re literally everything. And we deserve to see that normalized.
