I adore the love and care that must have gone into making this unique antique Burmese “crocheted” mala in addition to, of course, its compelling texture and striking appearance! Hand-crocheted cotton threads over wood beads crafted in Burma Ca.1900-1940. #mala #woodmala #chrocheted #chrochet #chrochetmala #crochetedbeads #chrochetbeads #antiquemala #vintagemala #prayerbeads #uniquemala #yoga #yogi #burma #burmese #burmesemala #fashion #style #yogastyle #yogistyle #mensfashion #fashion #style #shop #nyc #unionsquare #beadsofparadise (at Beads of Paradise NYC) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8m3BBHhscg/?igshid=ykr5vre29565

Headless crocheted Therizinosaurus!
So it’s anthro-ish so I could upright it more and use the tail and feet as a tripod and stand it up and used poly pellets in the tail and feet to weigh it down and keep it standing.
And it has shag! Once it’s done, there’ll be a coat of long yarn going up its back and sides. I’m going to use the same yarn that I used for the body for the rest of its coat; I thought it’d look cool to use the same darker yarn I made the wings out of on the end of the tail.
So yeah. I just need to apply the rest of the shag, trim it to a not-absurd-length, and attach the head. 👍🏽
