❝ got it! ❞ he declares, scooping it into his hands. he quickly peers into a gap between his fingers before closing them again so it doesn’t escape. grinning, morgan holds out his hands to who he’d scooped the bug off of and says, ❝ do you want to see? this little guy -- well, i guess he’s kinda big -- was just sitting on you! i can’t believe you didn’t notice it, actually... ❞
following the mysterious incident with the black box of sweets, fushi had to take matters into their own hands to sate their curiosity. and thus they had taken to the streets to stop the first and the best person they came across in their tracks.

The professor sits on a bench, her gaze mesmerized and focused as she turns a fireball in her hand in slow revolutions. It hovers there, flames licking up the side in an incredibly controlled way. She spreads her fingers out and the fireball becomes a calm oblong ring of a sphere chasing its own tail. For a moment her lips curl into a melancholic smile. She recalls a memory as if it were playing out in the flames. In a hushed voice she speaks aloud to herself.
“It seems like so long ago now that you learned how to wield magic...Fufu... Always so quick to skip the basics,” she extinguishes the spell by bringing her fingers together. “I can sense it...the force of mana, here.” It was a force she knew well in her home world. It seemed this planet was connected to her own after all, but it was too soon to tell if that was a comfort or something that made her more uneasy.
“Ehehe...” A delicate, feminine laugh comes from the cloaked figure standing outside of their house. “A body to play with. All to myself... I like this place.”
