True, cleanup is something you have to deal with, but it's pretty manageable. Ornaments are one of those things that just slowly builds up over the years until you just have so many you don't know what to do with them. And then you don't really want to get rid of any because you like them all and you spend ages searching for a clear spot where you can put the next one. Those wooden ornaments sound like they must be really pretty though.

That's exactly how ornaments are! You just kinda build them up and up and up and everyting just sort of... gets shoved onto the tree. Like acceptable hoarding. xD

Luckily, we had dogs and children, some of them broke which means we were able to make /some/ room for new ones?...One of my dogs had a tail like a whip so it knocked a lot of stuff off.

Oh, my fathers ornaments are sper old and kinda delicate - some of them are kinda not very nice looking but others are so sweet and simple I just wanna keep 'em.
