Any that remind you of Paisley and Rex? I’m sure @lovelynurseandhenchman would love to see Rex! Hehe!
Ahh, yes! They are so underrepresented in the show, so us members of the fandom have to give them as much love and attention as we can! So definitely, I’d love to give them ornaments!
For each of them I’ve selected 2 ornaments. They are a bit out of the box, but I think they fit them well! Below the cut, and in response to this post!
We’ll start with Ms. Paisley Paver, the tiny, badass boss lady that’s now a reformed villain.
Speaking of her reformation, her first ornament pays homage to that jaw dropping event within the series. Paisley’s first ornament is a golden glass bulb that belonged to my great aunt and has a glittery poinsettia design on the front. This ornament makes me think of the flower that we saw in her hair following her turn from villainy. I know the flower in her hair was not a poinsettia, but it does have similar features including multiple petals like this one! I also think the golden color works well for Paisley because of her hair color, think of it as the bulb is golden like her hair!
Next up for Paisley we have this little Hallmark fairy ornament that my parents gave me as a Christmas present this year. This fairy is petite and adorable looking just like Paisley! The hair and body language of this fairy really give me Paisley vibes. If Paisley were to let her hair down and hang freely and let her guard down and act as she wanted to, I feel like she would act like this: Super sweet, bubbly, and cute! Which, we kinda get in the Our Blue and Green World special. Fingers crossed we get to see more cute and outgoing Paisley in future episodes! Oh, and I totally think Rex (if we are including their ship) would LOVE to see Paisley in this outfit, that’s also a contributing factor as to why I selected it for her!
Up next is Paisley’s loyal and devoted henchman Rex!
The first ornament that crossed my mind for Rex was not an ornament at all, it’s just one I’ve fashioned into an ornament. My not so little anymore cousin painted this happy little sun sun catcher for my family a while back, and ever since I’ve used it as an ornament! To me Rex is such an upbeat and bubbly guy, he always seems happy and excited. He is a “sunny” guy. So this ornament reminds me of that aspect of his character and personality. He is a sunny, smiley fella, just like this sun!
Rex’s second ornament is more of a long shot, but there is a purpose behind it! This ornament is a map of the Shenandoah National Park and the surrounding land; another ornament I purchased at a gift shop during a trip to the National Park. The map feature of this Ornament made me think of Rex holding Paisley’s blueprints and helping her with her paving. Don’t ask me why the map and blueprints give me the same vibes, but they do 😆. I also think that Rex and Paisley would love the history behind the Shenandoah National Park, especially the part about PAVING the Skyline Drive.
I know these were a little out of the box, but I hope you enjoyed them all! And I hope you had an amazing Christmas and will have an awesome New Year!
Trying to find a matching Snow White ornament to match mine and mine older sister's Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty for our younger sister. I've pretty much looked everywhere I can think to no avail.
Anyone know where I can find ANY princess that matches these? If it helps, we got these in 2005.
