“Everyone!” Ladybug called out to the crowd that had gathered to watch the Akuma be taken down by the pair of heroes, phones out, recording the entirety of the fight. “Please go to safety!” She beckoned to them, knowing that right now, as they stood along the banks of the river, where water was swelling around the shape of a girl, they were easy prey. 

At the call, the Akuma turned, sweeping at helpless citizens of Paris, causing Ladybug to jump out, blocking the attack. Pain crossed her face, before summoning up her lucky charm. From the magic, a net fluttered down into her hands. It did not take much for the lucky hero to figure out what it was for. 

Wrapped up, object shattered, Ladybug finally found herself capturing up the Akuma, waving it off with her standard, “bye bye, little butterfly.” It was easy, but not entirely the easiest release she had done. After all, she was a little waterlogged. 

Landing on the railing in front of people, she shook her head some. There was now only a small gathering, perhaps of ten people now, one person in front that she was almost sure she had seen once or twice before at the forefront of the crowd.  “I appreciate everyone’s support, but please leave the scene when an Akuma attacks. I don’t want anyone to get hurt, okay?” Her words were for all of them, but somehow her gaze lingered on one in particular.

“Hey, hey, hey,” she said, grabbing the person she was trying to warn by the sleeve and pulling them a little back. “The lights are red,” she said and sighed a little. She smiled to them. “Sorry... are you alright?”

Dear Diary,

Dresden likes to cudd

Why is my heart pounding

I think I’m in lo

I cannot express how happy I am to have you, Diary. I wish I had you sooner, but I suppose now is better than never.

Apparently, I had a moment, a big moment with Dresden! But because my mind seems to like to keep things from me, I don’t remember it! But the way he described it, the way my heart pounds when I’m around him, I can’t help but just know he is telling the truth. 

Of course, I don’t see why he would lie to me in the first place. Especially about something like that. 

We have been traveling together for weeks, so it’s normal for us to be so close, isn’t it? But, I remember traveling with my friends, a little, and things were different then. 

But, so much is different now. Back then, I wasn’t missing a big part of who I am. 

And Dresden is different. Different than anyone I have ever met before, I think. It wasn’t like this at first, but now, when I’m close to him sometimes, my face feels warm, and my heart starts beating faster. But, I can talk to him like always, I can spend time with him, learn with him, and over all, be around him, just like always. 

Maybe I’m getting sick. Diary, let’s go with that for now, okay? Our little secret. I don’t want him worrying again.
