Tons of chrysaora around here these days! Still trying to figure out if they’re lactea or quinquecirrha! The two were caught yesterday in the morning and then the big guy in the bottom picture was from last night (August 9). Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
This jellyfish is called Chyrsaora lactea, a type of sea nettle. There are two in the container, one being on the bottom. They were found off the coast of Woods Hole, Massachusetts, on July 25th.
