I finally finished this drawing that's been sitting half-finished on my PC for about three months.
Now, speaking of the drawing itself, let's just say it's from an alternate version of the Naruto Shippuden ending where Naruto manages to talk some sense into Sasuke before they both lose their arms. Here's a little context (mini-fanfic) that the drawing is set in.
Unlike the original ending, Sasuke stays in the village under strict surveillance, and since the old apartment where Sasuke lived is occupied by someone else, Naruto obviously offered him a place to stay, which Sasuke reluctantly accepted.
Although it bothered him at first, Sasuke eventually got used to Naruto's constant presence around him. But for some reason he didn't quite understand, he was annoyed that 80% of the meals Naruto ate were microwave ramen, so he started cooking for Naruto under the pretext of keeping him from eating so much junk food.
But ironically, Naruto ended up gaining weight because of the meals Sasuke cooked at his house. Sasuke, instead of feeling conflicted about his friend's physical change—some guilt on one hand, and on the other, he liked him better that way, even though he was ashamed to admit it or even think about it—didn't really care. He had his "best friend" at his house every day, and Sasuke cooked for him daily. What more could he want?
