the answer is i don't rightly know, but my grandpa sure does.
"so it works like a football fantasy league?" you assume, correctly.
no. and in fact, calling it a fantasy league may actually be disingenuous. what has actually happened is my grandfather thinks the rules for nascar are stupid. instead he has invented his own rules that he makes everyone else in the family abide by and writes up his own reports of the race results as dictated by this arbitration.
he distributes these reports via an email newsletter every week. for every season. since before i was born.
n e way this is all to confess that i didn't know the official rules for nascar until literally last year when i started watching the races independently for the first time.
