I’d describe myself as somewhere between Libertarian Socialist and Anarcho-Syndicalist, I believe the workers should control the means of prediction as compared to the state or the capitalist. I do have more faith in the state controlling the means of production compared to the capitalist though.

Yo I noticed in your "I have fish PRO EDITION" shitpost that you got a pic of the show Tanked with a circle and cross thru it. Do the people on that show make unsafe tanks for fish or something? I just wanna know what's wrong with it because I enjoy that show but if they aren't making good fish tanks or fish environments or something then that's really bad!

Mostly, I dislike and don’t support Tanked because of how they handle their fish tanks in general.

They use the fish as decorations not living beings. They stock improperly and have a lot of overcrowding. They don’t acclimate their fish correctly and they recommend a lot of high maintenance species to people and places that don’t have the time or experience necessary to keep that animal happy and healthy. They have a lot of saltwater tanks that are entirely synthetic, with no live rock at all. I don’t know much about saltwater in general, but that just seems like a big no-no.

They only show the “cool” parts of fishkeeping, leading me to believe that viewers follow their steps when it comes to getting fish of their own.

They are a huge entertainment and “education” portion of Animal Planet and they are not doing well with that responsibility. They are severely underplaying how difficult some of these animals and setups are.

They have even RE-stocked a super aggressive overstocked tank because one fish killed all the other tank mates. Instead of, properly educating the fish-owner on how irresponsible “monster” and aggressive fishkeeping is. Not only did they stock this tank one time, but they went back and did it again after all the fish were killed.

They play up their “kooky” tank designs and the families/friends bring in their drama and yelling. That’s fine. Once they actually bring in the animals, then it goes downhill.

If all they did was design the tanks it’d be an O.K. show.
