How I feel about the Chucky backstory: It is possible that he did kill his mother, but seeing how this doll is a clone of Chucky and they all seem to have different memories/thoughts, and in the flashback Charles clearly looks terrified for his dad and is crying with his mother, I don't think he did it, or at least, it wasn't on purpose.
Also the Hackensack Slasher looks way too much like Adult Charles Lee Ray.
Honestly I don't know how i feel about this backstory.

1) SUPER SUCKED that Kyle died. Damn it I wanted her to live, she was a good character. Damn it Hollywood or Mancini/or writers(dunno whom to blame) APPRECIATE THE OLD ACTORS. And Andy better not die next season or I’ll be pissed >3>.
Uhh was I surprised about Junior... no. Kid had issues, almost felt sorry for his dad. Heh almost, he stood up for Jake when his son was a dick, so I give him that point. Just somewhat surprised Junior followed Chucky so easily.
Yes I know his dad was a dick and he’s grieving. But his GIRLFRIEND and Jake mentioned Chucky, so literally moment Chucky moves about that should have lit a lightbulb in his head. I mean hell the moment he saw Tiffany/Chucky together should had been a hint that he was being manipulated oO.
You really wanna know what I wanna see next season.... for the writers or Manicini to drop Nica/Tiffany. I’ll be honest(and some fans will yell at me for this). After the finale I am REALLY sick of the fandom kissing Tiffany’s ass and making Nica/Tiffany a thing. This finale did NOT make me root for Tiffany.
You wanna know why... because she’s still JUST LIKE CHUCKY. We can go “oh she was a victim”. No nothing is convincing me she was/or has been a victim anymore. Because I’ve seen the flashbacks, there’s no indication that Chucky seduced her or threatened her to comeback to him. TIFFANY CHOOSE to follow his plan. SHE CONTINUES to go with him. Even her doll is still on his side. Tiffany could have quit ANY time and continued her career as Jennifer Tilly, she could be with her TWINS... or kid? (I’ll be honest going genderfluid is confusing.... mostly cause Manicini hasn’t stated if Glen/Glenda are still twins or one genderfluid being).
I get why Mancini. Had that big fight out with Tiff/Chucky, he’s being PC about this. Cause since Harley/Joker, many fans probably saw that Tiff/Chucky had the same dynamic. He doesn’t want to get cancelled, thats why he went this route. Do I disagree... not entirely. I’ll be blunt I’m use to Chucky/Tiffany. Their flashbacks still made me feel like he was explaining their not so “disney” lovestory. But anyways I’m getting off topic.
Point is Tiffany to me isn’t a victim. And yes I know victims go back to their abusers.... but this isn’t Harley/Joker. Harley SHOWED some form of conscience. Tiffany is STILL A BLOOD THIRSTY MURDERER. This isn’t Dexter or some antihero. Tiffany kills because she wants to, because she gets a thrill just like CHUCKY. Heck thats why she got mad in the 80s. She was mad they weren’t killing “together”. SHE LEFT A BOMB to KILL ANDY AND KYLE, for CHUCKY. She KIDNAPPED Nica and amputated. There is no amount of “abuse victim” that can EXCUSE THIS. Mancini did not make Nica/Tiff a thing for me to root for, unless he’s going for a Misery theme. At which he’s got that dead on the spot.
Cause I’m really hoping next season Nica gets FREE, of Chucky and of Tiffany. I want Tiffany to die for what she’s Nica putting through. Yes I know that means no Chiffany, use their dolls they can have some Chiffany. But no Nica/Tiffany, I mean bigger picture wise Nica never really consented to what Chucky/Tiff do with her body so still no reason for me to want them together.
Anything else I want for next season.... just for Andy to survive. Survive it all, we all feel sorry for Nica and Jake, well Andy’s been the longest running victim, fairly certain he deserves to live and be happy too. I dunno maybe next season Andy will be the older brother/or GOOD father figure Jake never got.
Uh.. in all honesty I want the twins to show up. I mean the show has thrown all the movie references so much, I’m wondering where’s Glen and Glenda?Is Glenda out killing? Is Glen hiding or living his life the best life or “their”....(i’ll be honest because Mancini hasn’t shown us if the twins are still twins or just one “genderfluid” person makes me unsure whom to use for “they”.... gonna say they to avoid people calling me homophobic... they I’ll probably get called out for not liking Nica/Tiff ship or not calling Tiff a victim). Back to Glenn... where is Glenn? Is Glenn out living life with a nanny (nobody’s mentioned ages yet either), abroad?, or some form of adulthood COMPLETELY oblivous to their parents’ murderous lifestyle. Tiffany mentioned Glenda, so its safe to say she has contact with Glenda... is Glenda following the murderous warpath of her/their folks?
Also who’s hand was that watching Jake, Devon, & Lexy.... if its Kyle alive I’d be SUPER HAPPY. If she’s alive LET HER LIVE/survive the next season Mancini
