Wugachug
Have you visited Wugachug yet? You should, it's such a happy place. It feels a lot like snowhill, only instead of hardworking dwarves and polite Yetis, it's filled with Chugawugs! You know, back in my fathers time, Chugawugs were everywhere in Sanctuary. They were specifically hired by the royal family to guard them and their lands. But the Chugawugs go way back, serving the Gleam council back before the unbinding.
But after the murder of the former king and queen, the Chugawugs were accused of being complicit and send away. Some, with nowhere else to go, turned into Thugawugs, living as thieves and criminals. Others were said to have defected to queen Darkthorne, guarding the fortress of Briarwood. A last group went into the mountains between Seaside and Snowhill, at the source of the river that flows through Merry Vale. That water is very clear and very drinkable, which is important, because the town of Wugachug holds a deep secret...
The recipe for Sarsaparilla! Their most famous of drinks. They have a brewery where they keep it a close secret, but, and don't tell anyone else dear, I do know most of the ingredients. You see, you need the clear water from near the source of the river, some sugar and sweet honey, the main ingredient: Chugaroot and the secret ingredient: Pollen from a specific flower in Sweetwater climb.
Now good drinks isn't the only reason why Wugachug is such a great party place, the Chugawugs are always friendly to outsiders, they have a permanent circus and a stage for the best musical artists in all of the Sacred Grove!
When I come back, we should definitely have a drink there one day.
Love you lots,
Dad
