I’ve been a Chuggalo ever since I saw these guys play at a small pub in Wolverhampton called The Gifford Arms. I love the masks and hats, I love the sound and style, the pisstaking and breakdowns, I also love the designs of their merch and their marketing and social media presence is something else. I’ll stop blowing them now and actually get into it. “Should Have Been” has Kellie Quinn from Sleeping With Sirens, and they lob a cardboard cut out of him round in the video, classic, there’s a BLEGH and crunchy drops with themes of not being paid for shows and being better than the headline act, what more could you ask for there’s a bit of everything. “No Rules, no limits” steadily chuggs along with a harsh yet very addictive chorus but please guys, don’t actually take a shit in the mosh pit because I’ll be fuming if I fall or step in it. “Bad Skills Brah” is the opposite perspective to their earlier track “Mad Skills Brah”, this time excuses for doing badly at a video game, the way they’ve managed to pull off the 2 which could be anyone playing the same game on 2 different occasions, brilliant. “I Don’t Wanna” is great, using a relatable feeling I think we can all experience of not wanting responsibility at times because of how stressful it is, they use their great humour with great musical talent, they’re really making a name for themselves with how they promote themselves and being able to take the piss, this album stepped it up where they don’t have to just do that anymore they can be serious and really go for it as well.
