Eschalon: Book II by Basilisk Games is a retro-styled 2D turn-based adventure RPG set in an open-ended traditional fantasy world, continuing the saga of your amnesiac player character, who has just been contacted by a stranger claiming you were once a fellow member of a mysterious guild sworn to prevent a powerful gem from falling into the hands of invaders overrunning the realm in search of it, this revelation leading to the obligatory quest to determine the truth and also attempt to thwart the invasion, as you do.
The game is compatible with Windows and Linux computers and is available with English audio and text. Extra goodies included in the download are a map, manual, and wallpaper. You can read more about the game on its regular catalogue page or Wikipedia article.
