I've been gone from Tumblr for what feels like months now for various real life reasons, pretty much all of which are great! I haven't even been on to secretly stalk any blogs to check up on people. So I'll just say that I've missed you guys and I hope that you're all doing well!!

I think they’re extremely convenient! I love giving and receiving them, honestly. You can still say, “Hey! I know you love this, so here’s a giftcard you can use on that.” Still somewhat personal, and there’s the freedom there. Love them, love them.

Right, yea. By all means, if someone knows something specific I'd like and they get that for me - that's just as good. I'm honoured that they care enough to actually spend money on me. But if someone knows that the birthday creature likes a specific store, I feel like it's a similar thing. Especially in terms of clothing, cos it saves the hassle of exchanging for wrong sizes, colours, etc.
