I'm not in the art commentary community anymore (I tend to just watch general video essay creators) and I've never commentated on drama but I am repeatedly astounded and disgusted by how easily the community falls for dumb shit like this. I'm also horrified by how easily people throw out very serious and brazenly false allegations and people just eat it up. Did no one actually pay attention to what they were hearing? At this point I'm just concerned.

Chuuli is pathetic.

Toastify is pathetic.

Their communities are pathetic.

The dogpilers are pathetic.

Probably not gonna post about this again and just go back to what I usually do, but this situation has me floored. This shit had me thinking Ponder was some dangerous person but no, she had a single fuck up 7 years ago. By the gods. Get a life.

Chuuli needs to grow the fuck up and get offline. Get a hobby, touch grass, invest in therapy, literally anything productive. Being a victim can't be their entire personality.

The AAVE I can't comment on. I wouldn't know busted AAVE from real AAVE-- presuming she doesn't speak like vanilla ice or some shit. It wasn't that obvious to me anyway, listening to her.

so ponder just made a post on yt, saying that she's currently working on a response, that those who don't want to wait for it do not have to stick around, and that updates will come from Lio, who apparently is the "only person currently helping me with things" (her words). and what do we see in the comments? civil discussion? expressions of patience? somewhat. but mostly just this:

You know, I don't think Chuuli is becoming Peaches 2.0, I think they're becoming Patchwork 2.0.

Repeatedly abused by more and more people, encouraged into bad behavior by their abusers, and every time they come out to speak on it, they get lured in by a new untrustworthy fuck. It just rapidly decays their credibility over and over, until everyone is tired and no longer finds them useful. As soon as that day comes, they'll get thrown under the bus.

I....don't know much on the Patchwork drama so maybe?
