Perhaps it is unfair to call it such a thing, for she knows Seiko does it out of no ill feeling, no it is the lack of ill feeling that makes it so heart breaking. But the eternal queen does not confess such heart break, her practiced smile warm and kind as she directs the servant ( ever hovering ) at her side to step forward with her glittering tray. ‘ I was just here to deliver some cookies, the cooks made some star ones with raspberry centers. I didn’t think you’d want to miss them. ’

Serenity ascends, silver hair cascading like the wings Usagi once possessed, before she lost the will to fly. ‘ Please enjoy them, Seiko. ’

         The tiny senshi is taken aback by the command. Wide blue eyes stare back at Kinmoku’s princess in shock. Does Kakyuu intend to fight alone? Where is everyone? Where are the Starlights?

         She shakes her head and immediately moves to stand in front of the princess, Heart Rod at the ready. There is absolutely no way she can just run away and leave Princess Kakyuu to fight alone. At the present moment, the princess may look older and stronger than she, but in this battle, the child has enough power to protect them both while they defend themselves or wait for help.

         Either way, she will not run away. Not this time.

      ‘Chibi Chibi, it wasn’t a question!’ The smaller girl was smarter than this, that she knew, but taking hit after hit without some help was more than she felt they could take by themselves.

      A short sigh and a flick of her wrist to deflect another spell, she forces herself to at least calm the tone of her voice, though survival is very much still her present task, ‘My sweet, we need more help to fight this... I am worried that their lateness means they are waiting on us...’

   . ¸ . ✩   ‘ There you are !! ’ Usagi sighs, a mixture of relief and annoyance as she opens the cupboard and finds her house’s newest child-vagabond hiding between the phone book and a dozen of her dad’s forgotten magazines. ‘ You get into the strangest places, I swear. What were you even looking for in there? ’ A shake of her own pigtails is the only answer she’s going to get, and she knows it, as she reaches in to bundle the little red haired tyrant into her arms. ‘ Let’s get you out of there before mom gets home and blames me for this.’
