♮ - body type

Fury is lean, with just enough muscle to show he doesn’t just sit around all day. He’s also on the curvier side, with wide hips and a round butt. He is short and thin, but not wiry.

✿ - laugh

Fury’s laugh depends on his mood. Usually it’s a genuine sound, a bit on the husky side like the rest of his voice- it starts with a bit of an exhale and is followed by happy little chuckles. If he’s feeling mean, though, it’s loud and uproarious, with his head tilted back to make the sound all the more aggressive.

✎ - taste in music/literature

He enjoys house music and disco, and in terms of what he reads- well. He prefers comic books, but he’ll read the occasional mystery novel or fantasy adventure.

Caring for each other while ill

“Te dije, Lolita, te dije que no salieras con ese vestido,” he reprimanded her softly, bringing over an extra blanket to drape over her shoulders. A large pot of chicken soup was boiling over the stove, and he’d piled up some pillows on the couch. 

He’d offer her the bed, but he thought movies might take her mind off the discomfort of having a cold. Her temperature wasn’t all that high, but he worried if he left it untreated, she’d just feel worse. A hot cup of chamomile had been coaxed into her hands as an extra precaution.

She had first dibs on whatever they watched, of course.

“I know Miami is a tropical paradise, but the nights still get chilly around this time of year! You could’ve taken a cardigan at least…”

Oh well, no use wallowing in regrets. At least she was in good hands.

❝Uh.. I think I’m lost.❞

“You’re at Rusty’s, doll. It’s a repair shop.” Not really the kind of place he’d picture a lady like her, certainly. “Where were you tryin’ to go?”

He made his way up to her, wiping his hands on a blackened rag that hung from his pocket. He offered her a smile in hopes of making her feel less intimidated- he knew people who weren’t looking for him were often startled by his appearance.

Seein’ some new faces. That’s good.

It was around midnight by the time he got home, and thus he felt a bit bad to be calling anyone around this hour, but he knew he’d forget if he didn’t do it when it was fresh on his mind.

She’d been perfectly agreeable last time they’d met, and he’d been delighted to find someone in the underworld he could speak in his native tongue with. It made conversations all the more private to speak them in a language the people around you couldn’t understand.

He played around with the piece of paper her number was scribbled on, waiting for her to pick up. When it jumped to voicemail, he leaned back.

“Dolores, cariño, it’s the Aztec. I’m sorry to call you so late. I hope I haven’t woken you up... But it’s time for us to meet up again. My pistol’s gotten rusty and I’m looking for a replacement- I don’t usually do guns, but this one makes me feel safe. I trust you to know what to do. Call me when you get this and we’ll arrange things then.”

He hung up and closed his eyes. He needed a drink.
