A childhood hero who allowed girls and femmes a window into an alternate reality that offered endless possibilities in a world where we were often told to keep ourselves small. Semler does a wonderful job encapsulating Chyna/Joanie's legacy and her unjust erasure from professional wrestling history while building a case for a solo induction into WWE's Hall of Fame, something Joanie herself had been advocating for prior to her death.
