i think you, as a civilian, are just astounded that they would let the two agents still work together. ofc, you arent knowledgeable on the inner workings of the agency so you are just so curious, asking alex for more info as you spend more time with him

To hold you over while you are at school. Your and Alex's last night together before you go undercover. -> Maybe after a dinner the unit host for you since you will be gone for a while, the both of you head back to your apartment. Alex watches you pack the basic and distracts you as you guys end up entangled in your bed. I feel like you guys stay up the entire night entangled in each other and Alex wakes up in the morning a lipstick kiss stain on his cheek and a note from you.

OUGHH YESSS he knows that later, he'll have all the things you need ready so he doesnt feel as bad for distracting you throughout the night. and once you wake up to all you stuff packed, you get ready making sure that when you swipe lipstick onto your lips you kiss alex good bye and kiss the note you write him.

(I wanna leave this before I go to bed, east coat time zone girlie) Your entire CIA division, including Alex, learns that your undercover operation is officially over and you are expected to be back soon. Not before the leader gets a class saying that you and the entire team from the operation are in the hospital, in critical condition.

OUGHHHHHH YES and there is a panic because the op was supposed to go so well but there is always that danger. at first, hearing that you'd be home has alex's heart warming but when they get that call that everyone is in critical condition, there is cold fear that runs down his spine. i feel like the team lead does reassure everyone that no one died and everyone will make it back home safe so that they can receive medical treatment which actually doesn't help alex feel any better.

How much guilt do you think Alex carries for convincing you to take the undercover operation, especially because he sees the physical and mental toll it took on you? Both of you have gone undercover but it never went this bad and it pains him that you have to go back out again. He is also worried, not only are you his partner, you are also his girlfriend.

i think he feels pretty guilty esp after seeing how you are dealing with the aftermath. but ofc, there was no way either of you couldve known that it would go so horribly wrong so you give him that comfort but i feel like there is still that nagging voice in his head that told him he shouldve trusted your gut instinct which was to not go. he not only sees what it does to one of his team maters but he gets to see behind closed doors how it has been slowing you down

You and Alex having fun in the CIA's shooting range, creating a game that involves reward of kisses and steamy make-outs as the range is all yours.

UGH YESS!!! i mean, when you two are actually practicing and shooting, the proper procedure is met but you two make it competitive which leads to some banter and fun. ofc when you two are DONE training, maybe you go for a bout of hand to hand combat which leads to a shared shower that gets VERY heated
