10: Something that turns your character on

Cold metal fingers slide along, tracing their way along her palm in the darkness. Thanks to Jo’s spiderweb of steel over her fingers, she can feel the texture of her own armored palm. It helps her find her way. 

Her metal fingers meet what they’ve been searching for; it’s a small switch installed into the panel of her hand’s armor. Grasping it firmly, she flicks it back into the ‘on’ position. Immediately, the silence is broken with the hum of her engine and the darkness is pierced with the green glow of her eye ports as power is returned. 

She is now ‘on.’

She’s a dork. She can go on and on at length about any number of seemingly boring or academic topics, usually rambling partway through.

She’s clumsy when flustered or not paying attention. 

She holds a tiny bit of resentment against her parents for sending her off to Dalaran at such a young age. While she relished the opportunity and made the most of it, there’s still that little nagging doubt of ‘maybe they just didn’t want e around.”

She loves linguistics, and will often (for fun) sit down and start figuring out common etymology between languages.

Her father calls her ‘Little Bird’, and she has no idea really why.

Her father’s orcish assistant calls her “Little Spark.”

Her mum calls her Naiea.

When she curses, it’s generally in ancient languages. Whether it's because she likes it, she feels they’re more colorful, or because she doesn’t want people to realize what she’s saying... well, it’s up for debate.

She can play the piano.

In what era were they at the peak of their glory? (Which expansion)

Well, I’ve been playing since Wrath but started rping at the end of Mists. 

The first conflict I was able to play her in was going through the portal and then into Draenor which was a lot of fun. Hopefully there will be more adeventure to be had but I think her peak hasn’t quite been hit yet!

What they define their relationship with your muse as: I’m not really sure how to define it. We met in the heat of battle, and I don’t think either of us cared for the other after that. I suppose tentative friends is a good place to start.

Something they like about your muse: She is driven and speaks her mind. 

Something they dislike about your muse: Her arrogance as she may be skilled but so are a fair amount of people.

Their first impression of your muse: Arrogant, smug, skilled, and over confident.

Their impression of your muse now: I feel like I can still see the arrogance but I also see someone who has put up a large wall. It’s practically a fortress but I can see a few hints of her.

How they feel about your muse: Another question I’m not sure how to fully answer. After Uldum, I respect her a lot more and have learned to trust her. 

Something they are hiding from your muse: A lot, as is my nature. 

Something they wish they could to tell your muse: Please learn how to love yourself before others. I feel like you got lost in Theron and were happy to because you were hiding from your true nature. You two were ill suited but I think you could have something more with Athena.

Pastime: Three hobbies I have that I would be embarrassed to know someone discovered.

Er, well, I’m not certain how truly embarrassing it is, but, well, I often take apart small mechanical devices to see if I can them back together. It isn’t as if I study engineering like some persons that I know, so I hesitate to tell them, because I fear they’ll either be offended or start going on at length about things I’ve yet to figure out. I do hate not knowing things.

Also, I’m absolutely assured that anyone who has even a hint of knowledge about me can guess, but yes, I do spend time perusing dictionaries and thesauri.

I, too, will find the highest spot in the city that I can, in the dead of night, or else if afforded the opportunity, will go to the countryside (Winterspring is a favorite) and simply stargaze. In the snow it is particularly soothing... a faint aura of a warming spell so that it doesn’t land on me, and watching the flakes swirl and dance while the far away stars twinkle in the night sky. It’s honestly when I am the most at peace.
