11. For what would your character give their life? 

Anyone he thinks of as Family! So Cain has kind of a complex about family. He spent a lot of his life seeing what happens when a family fails, more specifically what happens when somebody abandons a family.

He doesn’t want that to happen again. He never wants to be like his father who used people and left them. He will go to any length, do anything, and give anything he has to protect his family and if that includes giving up his life then so be it.

13. For what does your character pretend or try to care about?POLITICS. Cain cares about the mutant rights movement and he cares about making sure that mutants are safe and protected in society but that by no means he gives a shit about who the mayor is or what the law making process is like. For Cain, all of that is just a bunch of rich bigwigs wasting paper and breath shouting at each other and he’d rather do anything else than listen to it. Unfortunately, the fight for mutant rights obligates him to care at least a little about the current political landscape and process.

1. ) What would completely break your character?

Jordan is someone who prides himself on being unbreakable. Like a brick wall in a mental way. Additionally, he feels untouchable by other mutants. He exists in a bubble that allows him to be untouched so he won’t break.

I think if he opened himself up to someone and was betrayed, it would destroy him. He doesn’t understand what the point of building trust and love is because he is under the impression that everyone is as self-driven as himself. To extend himself to someone else and then to be run over would be the thing to mess him up the most I believe.

14.) How does the image your character tries to project differ from the image they actually project?

Jordan projects ice and confidence, but not arrogance. He tries to walk and ooze an aura that declares he is very sure of himself and of what he is doing. He doesn’t behave as if he is better than others, but more as though he knows himself so well, that he feels utterly at home in whatever situation he is in. He likes to make it seem like he is boring and not worth understanding or getting to know so no one feels inclined to try and be friends. 

However, Jordan inside is kind of dorky and has niche interests that excites him like coffee, novels, and pop music. He’s ridiculously petty, and actually pretty awkward because he hasn’t had “friends” before. He doesn’t really know exactly who he is, and you can see a lot of that turmoil in the way that he tries to interact with people he is starting to consider friends, and how much it confuses him when he actually likes people.
