I know I’m in a niche crowd here and I’m like starved for Cibersix content (mostly based on the TV show), but like the criticism of Adrian being a dull main character? I don’t get it.

Adrian is a high strung, sensitive nerd, okay? They pour over the pages of classic literature and relate to the monsters and the tragedy of never experiencing genuine human connection. You can’t tell me this idiot hasn’t walked into a wall at least once while being so absorbed in reading something. They quote poetry and gesture while lecturing like an Elizabethan actor and has the GAUL to claim romance movies aren’t for them. They can’t lie well - like, at all. It’s frankly a miracle it took Lucas so long to find out Adrian and Cibersix are essentially the same person, Lucas walking around with that himbo STEM energy. Adrian barely attempts to lie beyond being cryptic af, but it fits with the lit teacher vibe because literary homage opportunity? When faced with a life threatening situation, Adrian either overplays being harmless or appears the mysterious badass walking casually into a police barricade, like who even is this person and what the hell kind of tact do they have? You can’t tell me Lucas hasn’t stayed up at night wondering how the hell Adrian always seems to be physically ahead of him wherever he goes, despite him being a boxer. You can’t tell me Adrian hasn’t accidentally said something weird as shit to this man in a moment where they lack self-awareness because they’re just so comfortable with the guy and he’s a scientist so like, yeah, this is what scientists talk about, right? You can’t tell me there hasn’t been a moment between the two of them where Adrian maybe loses balance and accidentally breaks something but has to play it off like it’s a coincidence, because scrawny little Adrian could never really pull a sink out of the wall - it has to be the crumbling infrastructure at this school, despite there being cracks in the porcelain that look mysteriously like hands gripped them with enough pressure to cause breakage.

Please, I just need more content of Adrian being painfully obvious while thinking they’re being effectively mysterious because literature is basically the manual on how to be human, and poor Lucas just being a confused bisexual and second-guessing any “crazy” thought of Adrian and Cibersix being eerily similar.
