Angry Orchard is a commercial cider from the makers of Samuel Adams. Crisp Apple is their signature cider, made from a blend of regular apples you can buy in the store, like fuji and braeburn, plus a number of fancy French cider apples. It tastes just like you would expect - like apple cider. It's appley sweet, like an apple-shaped bottle of Martinelli's, but not too cloying. It has a little tartness on the back and a slightly bitter finish. ABV is only 5%, just what you'd expect from a commercial "beer-like" beverage. It's not as complex as the craft ciders I normally drink, but it's a fun cider when you want something sweet and sessionable for an afternoon. @angryorchard #angryorchard #cider #applecider #ciderreviews (at Escondido, California)
