Made The Heatwaves Dress by sarbernier and I am absolutely making more! Here are the stats for reference:

Bust: 45" (In this very structured strapless bra)

Waist: 37-38"

Hips: 49"

Height 5'10"

I made size J in view 2. The only alteration I made was lengthening the skirt piece by 4 inches. Next time, I will lengthen the skirt by 2 inches and the ruffle by 2 inches to help with proportions. I also might make size I instead because I want to wear a different bra with this. The bra I prefer would have my bust closer to about 44".

Made Simplicity 9756 and some wrap around shorts out of cotton. The top is fine but the cotton doesn’t make it comfortable. The shorts…whew. I Franken-patterned between the pants in S9756 and an online tutorial. Didn’t work out at all. The crotch length was way too short (the pattern’s fault, not the tutorial’s). I will try some regular shorts to go with the top and the tutorial for another set. It is what it is 🤷🏾‍♀️
