अपनी अना ............. तहसीन हम ने की।

In this poem poet's frustration is evident in not getting the love from one he loved. So to satisfy his ego he is insulting her beauty and choosing the words to hurt her the most.He also displays his love for her by mentioning of his truthfulness for not indulging with another woman even when he has the opportunity. He said that by showing her his that side he let her cry over heart’s death and at that moment he didn’t console her. He went to roam around the river alone. Lonely praising the beauty of nature without her.

"Novel Bodies, Unconventional Minds: diverse intelligence and the study of consciousness"

This is a ~55 minute talk titled "Novel Bodies, Unconventional Minds: a diverse intelligence perspective on a continuum of cognition (and consciousness)" by Michael Levin given at the CIFAR (https://cifar.ca/next-generation/cifa...) 

Neuroscience of Consciousness Winter School, + about 20 min of Q&A.  

My lab doesn't normally work on consciousness per se, but we do a lot of things that are relevant to questions in the philosophy of mind so in this talk I actually focus on the intersections between our experimental and conceptual work and questions of consciousness science.

Explaining ‘Mere Zakhmon Ko Tum Hara Rakhna’

‘ मेरे ज़ख्मों को ......... बिना धार रखना।

This Hindi poem tells the helplessness of a common man in India. Facing problems from all corners of life he is frustrated in saying that he is in such a position where he neither die nor live peacefully and with dignity.

The poet said ironically that Keep My Wounds Fresh which means as soon as he start gaining momentum in life or progresses government bring another policy or do something unexpected which stop his growth. He explains it by different examples and then said it is better to end all his means to survive so that he can die peacefully but he knows that he will unable to do that also because govt would snatch that opportunity by not giving him sharpened weapon to kill himself.

Sab Ek Charag Ke By Asad Badayuni

सब इक चराग़ ............. होना चाहते हैं

Asad Badayuni in this ghazal describes the craziness of falling in love of a same person by many lovers. He further added a satire that it seems they have earned lots of happiness which is the reason they want to lament their life by falling in love. He is surprised to see that the wealthy are ready to give away their wealth and wants to be ruined by falling in love. Such relationships will become tale of fictions to be heard by coming generations. He says that he too have passion to love and when he says that others are crazy to do this: to himself he mentions to become wise by loving her. He means that it is wise to love once in life whether it leads you to madness.

Chaap Tilak Sab Cheeni Mose Naina Milaike

छाप तिलक सब छीनी ....... नैना मिलाइके 

This is Amir Khusro’s sufi ghazal written in praise of his master Niuzamuddin Auliya. He said that he has forgot his own look and identity by just a glance of his master. He compares that to worldly love between a loved one and beloved to denote his heavenly love. Like a lover who forgets everything in his love he too has nothing to remember. In a way he said that his master’s glance has dissolve his self identity and made him look like her. This said as the highest level of love to God when a person forgets his own identity and become one he is seeking.
