H. J. F. BROADBENT

Mr. H. J. F. Broadbent is an Australian. Through not a professional record breaker he likes to make fast time when flying for business or pleasure, which he is enabled to do by his peculiar skill in pilotage and navigation. Among his many noteworthy achievements was his flight from Australia to England in May, 1937, Which he accomplished in 6 days 8 hours 25 minutes. This record was subsequently broken in the following October by Miss Jean Batten. (See No. 11 of this series.)
