It looks like Cihan is about to experience the fear of losing Alya to the fullest.
This lady is a journalist who seems to be giving spoilers about the series under the guise of reporting. Since her previous claims have turned out to be accurate, I thought I'd share this here.
According to her source:
*Filming for Season 3 will begin in the last week of August.
*Alya's ex-boyfriend (?) Enver will be introduced.
*Enver is said to be a highly charismatic man who owns a stylish restaurant in Budapest.
For those who don't remember Enver, Alya once mentioned in an episode that Enver had been her first love. However, Cihan corrected her, because Alya had said before that her true first love had actually been Cihan. So Enver was more like a teenage crush than a serious relationship. I had a feeling this character would eventually be introduced because the writer had already mentioned his name. Once a character's name is dropped like that, it usually means there's always a chance they'll show up later in the story.
I think this is exactly what Cihan is afraid of. That Alya, being somewhere without him, might start imagining an alternative, safer future. Maybe then he'll finally understand what kind of shadow Meryem has been hanging over their relationship. I can't say I'm a fan of jealous Cihan, but after all the Meryem nonsense, we probably should have expected the writer to give him a parallel storyline. After all, Cihan never seems to stop until he's forced to experience the very pain he's caused others. (Just like how Mine and Uğur's storyline happened around the same time.)
It looks like the first episode will take place in Budapest. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited.
