Evil chaos gods get the hose if they come too close to Lucifer.
This comic is based on several doodles and comics I’ve made about a fictional universe I’m tinkering on that I call 'All the World's a Stage' or the Backstage World, a universe where our reality is a giant metaphysical stage play that is run by directors, stage hands, writers, costume and makeup departments but where the producer and the original writers died a long time ago and all they left were a bunch of unfinished scripts.
In this universe, Peter Lorre managed to become a patron saint of Animation after he died, which means that he torments animators and artists and drives them insane, having them put little caricatures of him in their films and art to keep being remembered forever. He got the gig thanks to Lucifer, who is an overworked writer/divine being who is only interested in correcting mistakes left behind by previous writers/gods. Cillian Blank is his ex, another writer who is basically a chaos god and is more interested in absurdity and magical realism than trying to write good stories.

Alright, my accidental Claude Rains/Bill Cipher combo is officially a character now. @faustiandevil called him 'Cill Bipher' and you know what? Sure. Here's Cillian and his ex-husband Lucifer. They're writers and they're a headache. Cillian thinks devils and angels all look the same. Lucifer doesn’t like chaos gods who're too into Albert Camus.
