These Four Pictures Prove Chris Cillizza Lied About His Trump Crosshairs Tweet

Even creating the most outlandish, improbable scenario there is still no way for Chris Cillizza missed the picture he tweeted out.

On May 15th at 8:15 am CNN's Chris Cillizza sent out his Trump in the Crosshairs Tweet. After Conservatives rightly pointed out that they were outraged after the lefts hyperbole over the Sarah Palin "Target Map." Chris Cillizza deleted his tweet hours later. Both Chris Cillizza's original tweet and his "I've Deleted" tweet are shown below.

CNN then issued their statement absolving Chris Cillizza of any wrongdoing. “Chris has already addressed this issue publicly. The image in question is a framing mark used in film and video production to frame a shot. Nothing more. A producer who created the motion graphic inadvertently left that frame in the GIF.  When it came to our attention, the tweet containing the GIF was deleted and replaced with explanation. There is nothing more to say.” CNN and Chris Cillizza claim that it was all a mistake and the graphic was created by mistake by a producer/tech. Why this excuse is a fabricated lie is easily proven. The Donald Trump in the crosshairs tweet came from Chris Cillizza's twitter account. Neither CNN nor Chris Cillizza made any claim that someone other than Chris Cillizza wrote and sent the tweet. They do however claim that Chris Cillizza did not see the mistake in the graphic.   We will show you how impossible it would have been for Chris Cillizza to miss  noticing that the graphic had a green crosshair overlay over President Trumps ppicture. #1 The Picture File This screenshot shows what Chris Cillizza would have been looking at if his computer was set to medium view. If his computer was set for Large or Extra Large view than that would have made it almost impossible for him not to see the green overlay. Most computers are pre-set to show "medium view," using that setting below the picture inside the red circle shows what Chris Cillizza would have been looking for, instead he choose what was in the blue circle.

#2 - Choosing the picture for His Tweet When Chris Cillizza went to attach the picture of Donald Trump pointing skyward his screen would have looked an awful like like the screenshot below. Even with such a small thumbnail, you can make out a man pointing skyward. If you were looking for Trump pointing toward the heavens... You would not have chosen a green rectangular blob.

#3 - Twitter Thumbnail Let us suppose for a moment that Chris Cillizza had his computer settings to show only file names. Let's also suppose by some crazy chance, Chris Cillizza forgot to wear his glasses and was effectively blind when he wrote out his tweet. Chris Cillizza knows what a 256 color gif of Donald Trump pointing skyward would look like. It certainly would not be all green rectangular blob, but nonetheless, that's the one he attached to his tweet. Even if he choose the green blob... A blind man could see it's a green square with Trump inside a circle.

#4 - The Sent Tweet Somehow, against all odds, Chris Cillizza never once looked at the screen. Chris Cillizza never looked at what you wrote, Chris Cillizza never saw if he made a spelling error, Chris Cillizza never worried that he clicked on the correct picture, Chris Cillizza never wondered for a second about why that picture thumbnail was nothing but a green rectangular blob. Despite never looking up once, Chris Cillizza confidently hit "Tweet." Even if Chris Cillizza 100% believed he is the master of his domain and never made a mistake, after hitting "Tweet" even the most supremely confident person on Earth, would still look at the screen to read the tweet he just posted, and how it appeared overall.

Before Chris Cillizza's finger finished left-clicking the"Tweet" button it was on his screen in all its full-size Twitter glory, and STILL, Chris Cillizza somehow missed this and every other opportunity to realize "Hey they messed up my GIF?" Instead, CNN and Chris Cillizza wants you to believe that somehow, he never discovered the graphics error till hours later? Someone needs to be fired, not for creating this GIF. Not for tweeting it out. Someone needs to be held accountable by the "Facts First" news network for flat out lying because the fantasy that this was a simple mistake is beyond the pale.
