top 5 teams competing in the world cup!
i think i’m gonna answer my fave teams, not the most-likely-to-win :)
1. germany nt, i’ve supported them since euro 2012. although i’m disappointed with their racist chant in 2014 back then (as the issue resurfaces again on my dash recently) i can’t stop supporting them bc i don’t know??? really hope they’ll race back and take this games seriously, so they’ll stop underestimating any teams in this world cup :(
2. spain nt, i think this kinda happened because i am a cule and it’s just bound to happen. it’s like seeing barca but in different jersey. i remember during 2010 final there were so many barca players in the starting eleven, and boy i was so proud!! time sure goes fast... well a lot of things have changed after that, and you know the transition just happened before we realized
3. brazil nt, good team and good management. i like the way tite rotates the leadership around the team. i think it teaches people that being a captain isn’t easy, captain is a role model that every player looks up to. but i think brazil is so lively, passionate, and smart. people are wrong when they think neymar is the only star lol. brazil’s squad is balanced in every way. in my opinion, they just need to work it out together as a collective unit, and they will have more chance in winning the tournament.
4. japan nt, heyyy asians unite!! they’re my favorite country!! i love the culture, the people, the food.. japan nt is consistent and they have hardworking, discipline trait that i really admire. makoto hasebe, japan nt’s captain is a natural born leader in my opinion. keisuke honda had a rough childhood that shaped him to the way he is now. these people work so hard to be in this level right now, and i’m sad that they are so overlooked :(
5. mexico nt, they make the world cup alive with sunshine and joy :( the last victory was so deserved! the team works well together, their attitude is so warm. and their passion!! you can’t watch them playing football without that. i feel like world cup was made to bring people from around the world together and this tournament makes you appreciate their culture more. mexico nt has brought their country’s cultural identity worldwide. and their passion inspires people everywhere.
