Really enjoyed the Vamp!Cinder and VampHunter!Ruby bit you wrote. Such good stuff. If you ever have the chance it would be awesome if you could write a companion piece for the Gold and Silve prompt I did for Cinder Week 2025 with Old Vamp Cinder and Younger Vamp Ruby.
(For those that are interested, this is the piece Fanfictionrookie is talking about. This was a lot of fun to write and I have to thank you again for the background you gave me on it so I could write accordingly to it.)
“What do you mean you turned Weiss?” Cinder asked in a low growl, almost like a crocodile. “Turning Weiss means putting the rest of us at risk. There’s a reason you’re supposed to ask for permission instead of turning others on a whim!”
Ruby took a step forward, silver eyes almost glowing in the dim light. “I couldnt leave her to die!”
“She’s a huntress!”
“So was I when you turned me!”
Cinder stood up from her seat and walked over to Ruby, glass heels echoing on the stone. Her fangs started to grow longer, becoming more visible and animalistic as she towered over her lover. “I had taken every precaution before I turned you. I made sure I had permission from the council, that you were already questioning what you knew, we could make it appear that you disappeared so I can teach you everything about being one of us. Turning Weiss like that is a risk we cannot take! It’ll bring us to ruin!”
“And I couldnt leave her to die!” Ruby growled out, her own fangs starting to show. “She’s my friend-”
“She’s a liability! You turned her with no regard to anyone’s safety! You know our hunger! You know how it makes all of us! She’ll be nothing more than an animal until she satisfies it!”
“Then I’ll train her!”
Cinder snarled as she looked over her lover, noting how her fangs had started to grow the same as hers. She had the same look that she did all those years ago when she turned her. The look of someone desperate to save someone she cared about, even if it meant damning them to a life like this.
And yet, she wanted Ruby’s attention all to herself. The idea of Ruby spending her time with someone else… training someone else… that wasnt why she turned her! Her clawed hand grabbed Ruby’s shirt and she pulled her close. Ruby was hers and she’d make her remember that.
“And what makes you think I’d let you?” Cinder asked. “You’re mine. I can tell the council its a mistake, that we need Weiss killed in order to keep our kind from getting wiped out by huntsmen.”
Ruby glared. “I dont care if you give me permission or not, she’s my friend and I refuse to let her die like that! I’ll teach her how to control her hunger, how to keep out of sight of others. If anything happens, I’ll take responsibility for it.”
Cinder glared at Ruby, her claw puncturing through her shirt. Finally, she pushed Ruby away, her claws leaving scratching marks and tearing the cloth. “Fine. But if causes problems even once-”
“She wont.”
“If she does, then I’ll make sure to kill her myself.” Cinder let out a sigh and her fangs started to retract. “I love you, but this is a mistake that can ruin both of us. You’ll only be able to hide this from the council for so long until they catch wind of it.”
Ruby turned away from Cinder. “I’ll teach her the same way you taught me. I’ll keep her out of sight of humans and out of trouble. And when we’re done, I’ll present her to you the same way you wanted me to present myself once my training was done. Who knows, maybe you’ll come to love her too.”
Cinder shook her head and sat down again as she watched Ruby leave, her dead heart pounded in her chest as she smirked. *This* was the Ruby she had fallen in love with. The huntress who was determined to make her own path, to save those she cared about no matter how much it cost her. Then, she caught a glimpse of the girl that Ruby had turned. Hair as white as snow, icy blue eyes with a fresh scar that ran down her left eye, no doubt scared about what she’d become and the hunger she felt. She still wasnt sure what about that girl caught Ruby’s eye, but if she could be trained, if she could accept what she was, she’d certainly make a useful pet like Ruby did.
“We’ll have to see about that,” Cinder said quietly as the door closed. Her eyes started to glow with flames as the candles in her home started to go out. “You have my complete faith.”
NSFW, Ruby kissing Cinder's abs to the latter's satisfaction.
Cinder leaned back against the wall and let her fingers run through Ruby’s hair as the girl kissed around her abs. A smile curled along her lips, her voice soft and gentle as she spoke.
“You know you dont have to worship me like this.”
“But I want to,” Ruby answered back as she looked up at her. “I want you to feel good.”
“I already-”
“You have gone through a lot over the years,” Ruby interrupted as she sat up. “Abuse, partially turning into a grimm, having to get that arm removed… I need you to know that I like you. *All* of you.”
“Ruby-”
“Besides, I’ve seen how hard you’ve worked to get yourself back up and moving. So please, let me do this for you.”
Cinder nodded and leaned back to let Ruby work. A few soft moans started to leave her lips as she felt Ruby start to kiss along her abs again. A free hand went down Ruby’s back, gently running her fingers from each puncture scar.
A soft gasp left her lips once Ruby reached the bottom of her abs, her skin still sensitive to the soft touch. She looked down at her before placing a finger under her chin and lifting her head again. “I think that’s enough worship for now.”
Ruby smiled at her. “Are you sure? I can keep going.”
“I’m not ready to continue that far just yet.” Cinder sat up and smiled. “Right now, I just want to cuddle.”
“Alright.” Ruby sat up and leaned into Cinder. “Though, that seems a bit tame for you.”
“I’m not, exactly, wanting to be rough right now. Besides, you deserve some softness too.”
“As long as you’re okay with it.”
Cinder pulled Ruby close. “As long as I have you, I’ll always be okay.”
Vampire Cinder has fought a long, storied rivalry with Huntress Ruby Rose. Their final battle comes, with the eternally young and beautiful Cinder meeting an old, weary Ruby with grey hairs and wrinkles. "Your eyes are as pretty as the day we first met."
Ruby gripped the hilt of her scythe as she made her way closer to the cottage shack rumored to house Cinder. The sun had already started to set, what little light was left made the grey in her hair shine a faint silver. After all these years, she finally had a way to stop Cinder. And she was certain today was going to be the last time she’d have to meet her.
As she reached the door, she kicked it down, thankful that her strength hadnt faded with age. But as she walked in, she was met with glowing amber eyes with red rings around the pupil staring at her from the shadows.
“You could’ve just knocked,” Cinder spoke softly as she stepped out from the shadows and towards the edge of the light, a smile crossing her lips. “Your eyes are still just as pretty as the first time we met.”
Ruby moved her scythe, blade facing Cinder as she readied herself for a fight. “I’ve come to end this.”
Cinder let out a laugh and sat down on her couch. “As you’ve said for years, and yet, here we are, meeting once again. What makes you think this time would be any different?”
Ruby tightened the grip on her scythe and took a step closer to the unintimidated vampire. Her breathing started to slow as she felt her heart race. And yet, nothing she did seemed to phase the vampire in front of her. “I finally have what I need to defeat you.”
“Let me guess, another cross?” Cinder asked as she reached for a nearby wine glass. “Or maybe you have holy water with you. Oh, I know, your blade is made of silver now.”
“I know now that you’re a vampire because of the grimm inside you.”
A frown crossed Cinder’s lips while she grabbed a wine bottle from the rack. “I see. So what, you’re going to blast me with your eyes this time?”
Ruby lowered her scythe, silver eyes still glued to the vampire as she watched her remain unintimidated. And yet, something felt… off. In years past, Cinder would be gloating about keeping the upperhand, for Ruby walking into a trap. And yet, she seemed to not care about any of that. “You’re… not worried.”
“Maybe I want a drink before we get into this fight again.” Cinder poured herself a glass of wine, and then a second before offering it to Ruby. “Join me?”
“How do I know you’re not trying to poison me?” Ruby asked.
Cinder sat the glass down and took a sip from her own. “Suit yourself.”
Ruby folded her weapon up and sat down across from Cinder, still keeping watch over her. She had been in this fight with Cinder for longer than she wanted to count, and yet, this was the first time Cinder hadnt made a move against her. No attempts to turn her, stab her, lead her into a trap, just a pair of wine glasses and what looked to be one of the last bottles of wine that Cinder had.
“Once you’re finished with me, what do you intend to do next?” Cinder asked as she swirled the wine in her glass. “Move on to the next monster? Or do you plan to settle down finally.”
“Why do you care to know?” Ruby reached for the glass in front of her and sniffed it. “You’ll be dead.”
“Just because we’re rivals doesnt mean I cant care about your wellbeing. Your heart, it hasnt stopped racing since you’ve walked in here. You dont have much longer either, do you?”
Ruby looked away. “I’ll be fine-”
“But you wont. Your silver eyes, I know they’re destroying your sight and your heart. How many more times can you use them before you destroy yourself in the process? Dont you have anyone to live for?”
Ruby could only sit in silence at the question. Years ago, she could’ve answered with a resounding yes. But now, her family and friends were just a memory and graves that she visited when she could. When she looked at Cinder, all she could see was pity in the vampire’s eyes.
“You dont, do you?” Cinder more said than asked. “I know how that feels.”
“Again, why do you care?” Ruby finally took a sip of her wine, still not used to the bitter taste. “I’m here to kill you, arent I?”
“Yes, but that doesnt mean you’ll succeed.”
In a flash of an eye, Ruby felt Cinder’s fangs against her neck, unsure of when the vampire had moved. The hand she’d normally use to grab her scythe had been pinned to the couch and she could barely move.
Cinder pulled her fangs away and whispered to Ruby. “I’m still in my prime and you’ve aged well past yours. Using your eyes will be sure to kill us both, and then there’ll be nothing left. No stories of either of us, no one to remember us, just two rivals faded into obscure legend by the few traces we left. Is that really what you want? Or are you just looking for a way to punish yourself?”
Ruby closed her eyes. “If you’re going to kill me, do it.” All she could do was stay still as she felt Cinder’s fangs brush against her neck once more, only to pull away.
“I have no intent to kill you. In fact, I… I’m ready for this rivalry of ours to end.”
Ruby opened her eyes. “I-I dont understand.”
Cinder moved back to her seat and picked up her wine glass. “There’s nothing more for me to gain with it. Turning you or killing you when you were younger would’ve gotten you out of my way, but now… Salem’s gone, vampires are starting to become more accepted and there are other ways to get blood now besides just abducting people to feed from… So, I leave us with a choice: either we both die, or we both get to live out the rest of our lives atoning for what we’ve done.”
Ruby nodded and stood up, her hand reaching for her scythe. She unfolded it one last time, staring at the blade and then at Cinder. She could end it all now, be done with everything. No more Cinder, she’d certainly die, but then again she would die anyway. It was all down to her choice.
And yet, all she could do was drop the scythe onto the coffee table in front of her and start to walk out. “We’re done.”
“You’re not going to finish your wine?” Cinder asked.
“I’m not a fan of the stuff.”
“Then maybe I’ll find you next time we can get something to eat together.”
Ruby paused at the door of the cottage and sighed. “I thought you didnt get anything out of eating.”
“I dont, but I want to make sure that I see you again,” Cinder answered back. “You still deserve someone at your side until its your time to pass.”
“Fine,” Ruby said, waving her off. “Just make sure you dont give me a reason to regret this.”
Theater tech nerd Ruby x Theater drama queen Cinder
“That light’s too bright!” Cinder yelled out from the stage, script still in hand. “Turn it down!”
“I’m doing the best I can,” Ruby yelled back. “Someone messed with the settings.”
“Then fix it!”
Cinder let out a heavy sigh as she sat down on her chair as she looked over the empty theater. It wasnt too out of the ordinary for her to practice alone when classes were out. It was when she could do her best work. No distractions from the other actors, no harsh words from their director, just her and the silent audience.
Though today, she did have one audience member. She had asked Ruby, one of the techs, to help out with the lights. Normally it didnt bother her for the lights to be wherever they were, but tonight, she wanted the stage to look more like it would for the show. And as much as she liked to say she could handle the lights… it’d be quicker to have someone else take care of it.
But as she watched the lights slowly move and heard the cursing coming from Ruby, she couldnt help but wonder if maybe she’d chosen the wrong person to help. Ruby was the one who designed and made all the props and set pieces, so lights should’ve been an easy task for her. But the longer Cinder waited for the lights to get into position, she wondered if Ruby had been taught at all. But then again, she didnt know any of the other techs she could’ve just asked without scaring them.
The lights started to move into position and Ruby yelled out from her seat. “Finally figured it out! Sorry it took so long.”
“As long as I get to rehearse,” Cinder answered quietly, flipping through the script until she managed to get to the scene she wanted to practice. She paused for a moment and then looked over at Ruby. “Can you come on stage?”
“S-sure,” Ruby answered as she made her way to the stage. “What do you need?”
“I need you to be Maria for the scene.” Cinder walked along the stage for a moment until she found what she considered the best spot to practice for the lighting. “I need you to stand in front of me and follow my lead.”
“Wouldnt it be easier to practice with someone who’s actually in the play? I dont know the lines-”
“I dont need you to know any lines. What I need is someone to be my Maria while I try to get the dance right.”
“I cant dance.”
Cinder rolled her eyes and took one of Ruby’s hands. “All I need you to do is follow my lead. Do you trust me?”
There was hesitation in Ruby’s eyes before she slowly nodded.
Cinder gave her a smile and gently motioned for her to follow. The script itself didnt call for any particular dance, but then again, Miss Salem hadnt gotten to that point in the play yet. So she took the lead on a small waltz, leading Ruby around the stage as she gave small direction to her.
Her mind seemed to wander as she looked between Ruby’s silver eyes and the stage below her, almost as if she was getting lost. Had it been anyone else, she was sure she’d be called a drama queen or a primadonna, but here with Ruby, dancing on an empty stage with the lights drowning out the empty seats… it almost felt like she could be herself. Relaxed.
In love.
Cinder almost tripped over her own foot as she moved along the stage, stopping the dance. And just as Von Trapp was supposed to in the script, she pulled away and cleared her throat. “I-I uh… I think that’s enough. Thank you for the practice.”
“Are you sure? I can stick around for the lights-”
“I’ll call you back when I’m done. Besides, you said you had something to take care of, right?”
“Yang will be fine if I miss her band rehearsal.” Ruby started to walk off. “I’ll be in the back finishing a few props.”
Cinder gave a small nod and started to read through the script once more. Her fingers started to linger as she turned a few pages, her eyes focused on Georg Von Trapp’s lines. This was supposed to be like every other role she ended up as. A lead to the play, willing to dress as the role called regardless of gender, put her heart and soul into the performance… but that’s all it was. A performance. Emotions were meant to be called out at a moment’s notice to convey what the play was to invoke.
But as she had danced with Ruby, she finally felt what Maria must have been for Von Trapp. Staring into the eyes of someone that had started to get into your heart, losing control of everything the mere second you let them in the door. Their mere presence allowing you to finally be yourself.
A blush crossed Cinder’s cheeks as she finished reading through the script, her mind still lingering on the brief moment she’d spent with Ruby. “Dammit,” she spoke quietly to herself, dropping the script to the ground. “Why did it have to be her?”
Ruby’s fingers tapped against the crown she held in her lap, her heart racing as she stayed quiet in the airship. Her eyes stayed on her scroll as she watched a few more calls from her teammates go unanswered from her. As her scroll finally went quiet, she turned it off and took a few breaths to try to steady her heart.
“Not how you thought it was going to be, was it?” Cinder asked.
“I uh… I thought it’d be easier.”
“To betray everyone that trusts you?”
“To follow what I think is truth.” Ruby let out a soft sigh and leaned back in her seat, fingers gripping around the crown. “I-I knew I was going to have to tell them eventually, but I thought… I thought I had more time. I could work both sides, make sure we know what Ozpin is planning so we can keep out of trouble and make sure no one would get hurt. But now Yang knows and I had to fight her… I dont want to fight the rest of my friends as well.”
Cinder nodded and put the airship on autopilot for a moment. “I wish I could tell you it’d get easier, but it wont.”
Ruby nodded and looked out the window to watch the world around them pass by. She was no stranger to watching everything pass by below, but it felt different than it had before. No patching up after a mission completed, no terrible jokes being made to laugh at, no complaints about the cooking or not being prepared for some unforeseen issue… just quiet. Even Cinder seemed more reserved than normal instead of flirting like she had on the way to Beacon.
Finally, Cinder spoke. “Salem probably knows your plan didnt go quite as unnoticed as you said it would.”
Ruby nodded. “What do you think she’ll do to me?”
“I’m not sure. Probably make an example of you, but since we do have the crown, I’m sure you’ll get off easier than if we didnt have it.”
“Yeah…” Ruby said in half agreement. She glanced down at the crown as her fingers ran over it once more, the desire to put it on becoming stronger the longer she held it, almost as if it was begging for her to wear it. Begging to show her the choices that lay in her future as a soft voice whispered in her ear.
“*Wear me.*”
Ruby felt Cinder’s hand on her arm, not aware that she had already started to move the relic to her head. Her arms shook as she lowered the crown back to her lap. “S-should I… not wear it?”
Cinder shook her head. “Not until after Salem has. Its our job to deliver the relics to her, not use them before her.”
Ruby nodded and put the relic into her pack as she watched the ocean turn to land as they approached Evernight Castle. No matter how many times she saw the barren, grimm infested lands, it always made her heart race in fear. Watching the grimm down below climb out of the grimm pools and make their way towards the castle… it was unnerving.
“Just make sure you hand the relic to her,” Cinder said as she brought the airship down to land.
Ruby took one final deep breath as she felt the airship land, her stomach almost in knots as she stood up. The air around her tasted stale as she made her way into the castle and towards the throne room where Salem sat. Her fingers fumbled with her pack with each step as she struggled to get the relic out.
She followed Cinder into the throne room, staying behind her and following her lead just as she normally would. Once she saw Cinder stop, she dropped to her own knee, relic in hand and near her chest as she waited to be spoken to. And yet, the world around her seemed to be quiet as she heard the faint whispering in her head once more. Ruby’s eyes went from watching Salem down to the crown until she felt her fingers leave it as it was pulled away.
“You both have done well,” Salem said as she held the relic in her hands. “And for that, you deserve a gift.”
Ruby looked up at Salem, confused as to what she meant until she felt a sting on the back of her neck as Salem placed a hand on her shoulder. Her muscles clenched as she felt something crawl under her skin. Sweat dripped down her forehead as her body felt like it was heating up. And then… the pain and heat were gone.
Salem pulled her hand away and smiled. “This will make sure you’re able to succeed with claiming the next maiden’s power to secure the next relic. But for now, rest. I’ll let you know when you’re needed again.”
Ruby nodded as she stood up, legs shaking under her weight as she nearly collapsed, only to be caught by Cinder.
“Dont worry, I’ve got you,” Cinder said.
Ruby sighed and put her arm around Cinder to keep herself balanced. “I-I guess I’m more tired than I thought.”
“Its fine. We’ll go to bed and rest. And tomorrow we’ll make sure you’re ready to fight your friends if we run into them again.”
Ruby looked away as she felt her heart sink. Her friends, her teammates… she was sure they’d understand reason if she could get just a moment to talk to them, to help them see things from her point of view. And yet, she was also certain that they would become her enemies whether they understood or not.
Aaaaaa I love part swap Ruby! Damn, Blake got away, so now she only swapped with Neo. Could Neo punish Ruby with Ruby's lower half? (suggestive wink)
Ruby winced as ropes dug into their wrists with each movement. To say Cinder was disappointed with their actions was an understatement. Their body was still littered with burn marks from Cinder’s hands as punishment, enough to hurt but not enough to cause problems. A reminder to do better.
And yet, their punishment was only just beginning.
They tried to look up as they heard the bedroom door open, pausing when they saw Neo walk in with a pair of cuffs, a gag, cockring, and a chastity cage. This had to be another part of Cinder’s punishment for them. And yet, they were looking forward to it considering what it could’ve been.
As Neo walked over next to them , Ruby couldnt help but blush as they felt Neo’s fingers gently trace their side. They watched as Neo began to move her hand from their side to their cock, unaware of the clothes fading from the girl. Their eyes closed and a moan slipped out of their lips as they felt Neo start to stroke their cock.
It wasnt long before Neo climbed up onto the bed, sitting between Ruby’s legs with a grin on her lips. She leaned back a little, flexing her toned stomach and using her hands to support her as she moved her calves to Ruby’s cock, gently squeezing.
Another moan left Ruby’s lips as they felt the toned calves start to move up and down their cock. It felt strange to feel it, those legs had once been theirs and it was never a thought to use it like this. And yet, it felt nice. Maybe it was just how sensitive the cock was or maybe this was something that they had wanted more than they wanted to admit. Either way, it felt amazing.
As their cock started to twitch, they felt Neo pull her legs away and replace it with a cock ring. Their cock strained against it as they felt it tighten around, almost as if its entire purpose was to keep them from cumming. And as they opened their eyes, Neo pressed in for a kiss. Their body felt weak as Neo pressed up against them, her chest pressing against theirs.
As the kiss broke, Ruby tried to speak until the gag was placed in their mouth. Muffled words left their lips as they watched Neo use her semblance to look like Cinder. Their eyes couldnt seem to leave the amber eyes that stared back.
“*Cinder asked me to break you,*” Neo signed slowly as her smile turned into a sadistic grin. “*And that’s exactly what I plan to do to you. You’ll be begging for her by the time I’m done.*”
Fear could be seen in Ruby’s eyes as they watched Neo pull a few more items from a small pack she had managed to sneak in out of view. A collar was placed around their neck with a leash attached to the ring in the front. Then, a second cock ring was placed around their cock, squeezing just as tightly as the first. Lastly, a plug was inserted into their ass, making their cock twitch as it pressed in deep. A few muffled moans escaped their lips as they shifted around to get comfortable once more.
Neo pulled away and picked up a small remote, gently kissing Ruby’s chest as she pressed a button. The cock ring and plug started to vibrate and all Ruby could do was moan. Their back arched as much as the restraints would let them, pulling at the ropes causing them to dig into their wrists.
Just as Ruby was about to cum, the vibrations from both the plug and the cock ring stopped. All they could do was try to catch their breath in the few moments of respite they had. The vibrations started back up just as quickly as they faded, putting them through another wave of pleasure. And just as before, as they were ready to cum, the vibrations stopped.
They lost track of how many times the vibrations started and stopped, nor could they point out when a knife tip was dragged across their body, only able to focus on the pleasure that flooded their mind. Muffled moans continued to leave their lips as their chest was groped, their cock stroked, and the feel of Neo’s… no their legs… straddled against their hips.
The pleasure stopped once more and Ruby tried to focus on what was around them. They could feel the cock rings being removed, the squeezing finally letting away. The gag was slowly removed as a gasp left her lips once Neo moved herself onto their cock.
The moans started up once more as Neo started to move up and down the shaft, their eyes only focused on the image of Cinder above them. Their eyes closed once more as pleasure flooded through them, spine arching as their cock started to twitch once more. And once they came… their body went limp.
The sound of glass heels clinking against tile filled the room as Cinder made her way in, followed by the sound of her voice. “I think you’ve learned your lesson now, havent you?”
Ruby gave a soft nod as the ropes came undone, falling from their wrists. They didnt move until they felt Cinder pull on the leash, lifting their head up. Soft, ragged breaths left their own lips as they tried to catch their breath again, letting Cinder move them as she inspected them.
Cinder smirked and dragged a sharp nail across Ruby’s cheek. “Neo certainly did a number on you, didnt she?” As if to prove a point, Cinder scratched their cheek, watching as blood dripped down without any hint that they felt the pain. “Nothing more than my pet now.”
“Yes… Cinder… “ Ruby said weakly as they felt the chastity cage placed around their cock.
“Good. Clean yourself up and get dressed. I have another task for you.”
Ruby slowly picked themselves up, their body still sore for the punishment they endured. They watched Cinder and Neo leave out of the corner of their eye, still unsure how they managed to get into this position to begin with. Either way, they werent ready for whatever Cinder had planned next.
