Finally got around to posting the first chapter of the fic 👍

Oh now that the animation is posted I can share the uhh technical difficulties and Wips i had while making it ^_^ Above is the rough sketch of the animation in gif form sped up

Some small bits of Boxten's animation that I saved to share with friends.

This was my first time working on a large project on Toonboom. I grew up animation using Movie Maker and that has a lot of limitations. Been putting off learning a new animation software cause I tend to stick with programs I know. This project was the perfect excuse to sit down and make the switch and honestly I don't think i can go back to movie maker lol. Still got a lot to learn but I think this was a good start :]

Most of the bodies were animated on 1 layer while the face animation was on another. I tried to keep Boxten and Astro separate to keep track of what scene was what, but in scenes where they were touching they ended up on the same layer together

Most of the animating went smoothly once I'd figured a few things out but when it didn't uhh.... I have no idea what happen but i had to do surgery on my lineart to restore it lol

Wish I had thought to save more Wips but I hope yall enjoy these little behind the scenes ^_^
