Thanks guys! I'm in pre-calc but it's just review I guess...but I haven't had math since first semester last year so I don't remember anything ugh.

It's finding double roots? Like they give you 6(x + 12) = x^2 and the solution is {6, 12} or 6-7u = 3u^2 and the solution is {-3, 2/3}

(I only know the answers to those because they're in the back of the book) I have no clue how to GET to those answers though. Something to do with factoring. "Applying factoring to solving polynomial equations"  idk I got it in class but now I just feel like I can't figure out how to do it at all. Which happens a lot I remember from last year, SIGH.

My next problem is (u+3)(u-3)=8u (the answer to that is NOT in the back of the book LOL)

I think it’s normal to feel upset and voice how you feel. It’s not like anyone’s speculating about causes or pointing fingers. We are all allowed to feel sad or surprised because our opinions will not be heard by them and we all wish them the best.
