(( okay so i promise i was going to talk about.... the sparking zero gohan what-if which means it's going under a read more cause there's MANY MANY spoilers like please god if you have sparking zero check it out. If you click readmore and spoil urself i am not liable for damages.
So I did do some of the other gohan what-ifs and I think most of them are just... "GOHAN LOCKED IN AND SAVED THE DAY GOOD JOB!!!" as a slide for basically beating it VERY FAST, a reoccurring thing with what-ifs. The REAL one that matters happens during Resurrection of Frieza annnd....
HOLY SHIT I CANT BELIEVE HOW PEAK THE FIGHT IS WHEN YOU SUCCEED. Forcing that lil bitch to go to his final form as you fight him ssj2 and he gets more and more mad as you put up more of a fight until you go Ultimate and he goes Golden and god damn. I especially loved when he was all, "I will not be beaten by a THIRD SAIYAN!!!". Killing him was such a good moment like the fact that you beat his little ass before Goku and Vegeta shows up is NICE!!! I also love Gohan's realization that as always he hates fighting but he has this innate need to protect his friends and family.
Then they skip the Gohan v Hit fight that apparently happens in the Uni 6 v Uni 7 fight which... damn. But boy did I get hyped as fuck when Trunks dropped in and the mfing reveal that Zamasu took Gohan's body was *CHEF KISS*. I really hope we get that skin as an alternate cause Kyle Herbert did a damn good job with that voice, I think I remember joking like "please dont be british again"
It was also fun when Gohan Black transformed and was like "WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY NEW FORM" and tbh... i didn't... it wasn't that different u lil bich. I mean it was clearly like Ultimate Rose but it IS very funny how it doesn't change a lot. I think mostly auras and maybe hair slightly??
But man that was such a cool ass what-if and I'm tempted to do an AU for it someday...maybe. At the very least I'm glad that the writers clearly understood Gohan and wrote him well, unlike certain others *COUGH COUGH* YOU DONT HAVE TO REWRITE THE SAME FUCKING STORY WITH GOHAN EVERYTIME HE IS RELEVANT U MFERS
