I love making #timelapse's. These are a few of my first attempts. I took these in October of 2013 when we went down to #SouthPadre. I set up my tripod on our balcony and shot these over the course of about 3 days. These were set at very high intervals which is why it's sorta jerky. I've found that when shooting clouds and the sun and such, setting the interval at no more than 10 seconds creates a better, smoother timelapse. These were set at around 30 secs and shot on an iPhone 4 so the quality isn't the crispest either. Since Osnap is taking individual photos and not continuously running a video, you have the ability to record for longer periods of time. The resolution is also adjustable so if you want to extend the time even further, you can lower that setting and capture even more! GET IN MY BASKET!! #adayinthelifeofcin - made this lil gem this afternoon. Gage took his 4 wheeler to the field and rode around while I picked weeds. One of the really cool things about Osnap! Pro is that you can import photos from your "real" camera. Not everyone has the ability to use their phones for the amount of time it takes to film a #timelapse. I got an external timer for my Canon rebel and took this timelapse with it last summer. I attempted it several times before I captured anything simply because I kept waking up too late to catch it as the blooms of the #hibiscus start opening as soon as the sun hits them. So, the night before I set the countdown timer to begin capturing at dawn and caught this. #emojisinthewild 🌺 I then imported the the photos into my phone and created this timelapse with them for @intagram's #WHPtimelapse. The resolution on my camera is much better than my iPhone 4 so the finished product is nicer. I have many copies of Osnap Pro to give away! Tag a friend or share this post to win! #cinethiatimelapse
Today, my husband helped me set up this #osnap #timelapse on the second story of our house. He took me up there the other day to show me how far you could see. At night, we can see the Dallas skyline and that is pretty cool!! It's scary as hell, don't get me wrong, it's REALLY high and heights are not my fave. 😱 I left my tripod up there so I can get a sunset next! After I compiled the video, I reversed the order of the photos in OSnap to make it play backwards. It was one of the only apps that had that feature when I was shopping timelapse apps. One of my favorite things to do with #Osnap is to try and capture flowers and dandelions opening. Depending on what I'm trying to capture, I change the frequency of snaps. This is an amaryllis and I knew that it was going to take a while for them all to open. So, I set the timer interval at 30 seconds. It took 6 days for these flowers to fully open and this is just the first one. (I'll stitch em all together after I post them all.) I filmed for 6 days, nearly 24/7 and had over 17,000 photos when it was all said and done. I did stop the filming every 1500-2000 photos, compile a video and start over so as not to run out of space. I have planted over 100 various spring bulbs this winter and hope to be able capture some of those in spring! I hope ya enjoy it but I REALLY a hope y'all will to try and make your own!!
