In my books it seems like the best friend/confidante is always delivering the hard truths to my main character. In my latest adult WIP, my MC’s best friend and business partner is a bear of a guy who has a sweet cinnamon roll of a heart. It’s been so much fun to explore his backstory and create a platonic relationship between two polar opposites who love each other like family. I’m so excited that this character is getting his own book in the next part of this series.
