Cinnamon origin story!
So. Here is my other cat named Cinnamon.
Her backstory isnt as long as Andy's, seeing as we had just gotten her a year ago. Yes. She is a year old.
So, about a year or two ago, we moved up into the country. Like literal you'll see coyotes and theres barely anything to do and you'll have to drive 30 minutes to another town that has tons of stuff kind of country.
It was a trailer, old and beat up from the last owners who took horrible care of it and we spent 6 months cleaning it out.
While we were cleaning it out before we could live in there, we would always see a cat running around here and there. My sister, being an animal lover as I am, left some food out for it. When we were able to see it better, we realized it was a female, and it looked pretty young but had a swollen belly. Mom thought it was worms. Me and my sister knew kitties. After we were settled in at our place, the cat would always come around and we would feed her and leave a bowl out for her on our porch[which had a top on it so rain wouldnt get on it.]-
Since we had just moved into the place. We still had tons of boxes everywhere and such but since me and my siblings were lazy, we didnt move them like our mother had asked us to for a good month or so. One day after the cat had been gone for a few days, we noticed she wasnt as big as before. Mum said it was probably someone's pet and they got her treated for worms. Once again. We said kitties. For a few weeks we had looked high and low for the kittens, trying to see if we could find them anywhere. But no such luck. Finally mom had gotten fed up with all of the boxes, and decided to start tossing then away in the trash. But once she got to the one where the cat would always hang around, she looked inside and low and behold. There were kittens. 5 to be exact. 3 black, 2 calico. Me and my sister named all of them after spices since we couldnt agree on regular names. Basil, Cinnamon, pepper, Sage and lastly, General Tosos. Our mother named the last one after some fish brand she loved. We raised them up outside along with the mother cat and got to watch them grow from little blind babies to kittens to slightly older kittens. My mother was dating another person[different one than the one scared of cats] and he wanted some since his beloved cat had died recently. So he took Cinnamon and General T. One by one, the kittens at the other house dissapeared as all cats do when they are old enough, and we moved in with our now stepfather. One day he got angry at general t and tossed him out to be an outside cat. And we havent seen him since.[false. Hes down the road living it up with the cat lady who named him Boat since he purred constantly and so loudly like a rusty motorboat I still see him run across the street sometimes.he likes testing my horrible driving skills]
And alas we have cinnamon left since she was the most laid back one there was out of the two.
And shes been with us ever since, the two cats slowly coming to love each other and tolerate one another.
[Cinnamon is not neutered. Andy is.]
