This was inevitable, so none of y'all better act surprised!! 🫵 Yes, I *had* to draw my little furry freak simping over Doug. Sweet and douchey characters being paired together is so fun to me, opposites attract to the fullest here 😭 They were practically made for each other and I'll explain my insanity:

SPOILERS for Doug's love route below!!!

Mori is almost *exactly* like Doug's ex, Hope. Once I saw his backstory, I knew it was a done deal! 👏 Mori is a helper at heart and always tries to look for the best in people (even Doug.) They'd love to step up to support him, especially after the fact of his vulnerability slipping out. Mori is more than happy to be his little cheerleader and is an expert at giving compliments-- which I'm certain that Doug will eat all of that up. Their sweet sense of enthusiastic optimism will be a nice contrast to Doug's constant, dreadful nihilism. I imagine it makes for quite the banter between them; it'll be like watching a ping-pong game but with words! (Mori is quite stubborn and has puppy eyes that can melt the coldest of hearts, so you'll find them taking the win more often than not~)

Not only this, but Mori has seen their fair share of things and will be more capable of putting up with Doug's intense and dark sense of humor; within reason, of course. Let the doomscrolling and cuddling sessions commence! <3
