But seriously, this was super fun! It's been a while since I did a fully rendered drawing, and even longer since I drew Azzy or Erin. I just love them, they're so smitten with each other. And doing this drawing really made me want to revisit Cinomed Chronicles and revamp some details, so! Probably gonna do that at some point lol

I absolutely LOVE how you drew her wings! Like first off, the way you drew the feathers? Are so good????? I'm totally envious of your wing anatomy skills (/lh)

Secondly, the pattern in her wings? I love it!!! I love seeing how people take doing her wing pattern and yours is probably among my favorites- it reminds me a lot of a storm/clouds and I really like that texture!!! Whatever brush/technique you used to get those spirals is awesome

And just. Your rendering????????? It's so good???!!?!?!!! I love the sketchy lineart with the softer/painted shading! It flows so well and I just wanna stick my fingers in it (/pos)

And also just more art of my girl, who I've seriously been neglecting in the art department (I say, as if she doesn't have the most art). I always forget how fun Evanna is to draw ^^

This is the 10th time I've made this drawing in 6 years, and honestly I think this was the most fun I've had doing it since the first time. After I was done, it was really interesting to see how my art style has changed. From rendering, my understanding of anatomy (which still sucks but at least it looks a little more proper now lol), to how I apply lines and color.

And then there's the drawing itself - Evanna's design has changed numerous times, and so has details within the background. I actually forgot previous drawings only had a silhouette of the mountains. And the tree has changed size every drawing lol

ANYWAYS! I had a blast, got a lil emotional thinking about how long Evanna has existed, and I'm itching to do more fully rendered drawings cause this has lowkey revitalized my motivation.

I'm doing commissions for my cat! ^^

Fun fact: The one from 8/30/2021 was the last drawing I made in MediBang before buying Clip Studio. It was taking about 10 minutes to save at a time

This was overall a great way to get back into drawing after having no energy to do so once classes started. And a great way to do a more polished piece! Been a while since I’ve gone all out with backgrounds and shading too. Definitely gonna be doing more!!

I was messing with one of Clip Studio's paint brushes and doodled Evanna, and I actually really liked how this came out! I don't really do painting, but it was fun to do and I ended up changing my Instagram pfp to this after finishing, I liked it so much ^^

The texture just scritches the right part of my brain when I look at it lol
