A followup post, because this has been fascinating!
So to get the ADHD meds, I have to submit a refill request to the prescribing nurse, who has to mail the authorization slip to a place down the hill
But she doesn't tell me if it's been sent, and the place down the hill doesn't tell me if it's arrived. So I kind of have to just guess when it's arrived, and call up the place down the hill to check.
If I submit the refill request too early, it'll get turned down for "stockpiling" or "drug-seeking behaviour." If I submit the refill request too late, I'll run out before I can get the slip.
But apparently if I submit the refill request at the exact time they recommend, I'll STILL run out before I can get the slip.
Also note that this only gets me the slip that authorizes me to get the meds from a pharmacy. I then have to take it to a pharmacy myself, and if the pharmacy I take it to is out of the meds, I either have to then take it to another pharmacy and hope that they have some, or I have to eat shit.

I was in a polyamorous relationship with two guys and a girl. I went to the pharmacy to pick up one of my boyfriends’ prescriptions (he had a chronic illness that left him unable to walk), and my girlfriend asked me to get her hormone replacement pills while I was there. The pills came in a cute little box that looked kind of like the intersex flag, but they used a star instead of a circle
