Why I Worship 10 Elements
So I know it sounds weird as shit off the title but hear me out. Iv always had a deep deep connection with Nature. For a very long time iv always felt different aspects of life talking to me, guiding me, helping me on my path. There's some other stuff IL share as well. This is how I feel things are to me in my journey.
1. North - Fire and Electricity
Everyone pretty much knows about how great and powerful fire is but not all see Electricity as its own. Many believe it to be what some would say, a sub element. Fire and earth together is pretty much like a volcano. When they erupt, there's always a possibility of electricital sparks appearing in the giant smoke clouds and in between massive amounts of lava spewing out. Also, when there's very severe weather, particularly thunder and lighting storms. Lightning strikes can hit trees and whatever else, repeatedly. (Lightning never strikes in the same place is a lieee.) it doesn't always happen but it's entirely possible. Iv seen it myself. Trees will catch fire, plants will become chared, or even a black mark on the ground the second after the strike. I believe these two to be heavily intertwined. Let me know if that makes sense. Also, for Norse Mythology, in the beginning there was only ever Fire and Ice.
2. East - Air and Poison
This one always gets people when I first mention it. It's kinda funny to me now. Every once in awhile IL come across someone who does get it right away. But it's not that often and thays fine. I want to explain this one here now. Hope it makes sense. So we all breath air... It's part of life and there wouldn't be anything without it. Same for all these Elements. Air is essential a poison, or gas. Aquatic animals cant live on land. They would suffocate. I got the feeling that if there were alien life out in space, and they came here... Would our atmosphere be safe for them? Thinking about the chemical makeup up everything... If humans were to discover an alien world, would we be able to breath there? It's all according to the periodic table of Elements. There is a far vast amount of elements on this table or chart you could say. There are a number toxic to humans and can be lethal. I believe these two Elements to be as they are because air is what gives us life, while the remaining other elements that give life, are another as awhole. I guess you could say the Poison Element to me is the entire Periodic table of Elements, except for the few other that make up the circle of 10.
3. South - Earth and Metal
So iv always had a connection to trees and felt that there is a reason why the roots of the tree grow downwards. Many many people usually correosponde trees with the element of earth. I believe metal to be an equal different of Earth. Metal is within the Earth, our planets core - is metal. It’s Iron I believe (let me know if I’m wrong.) I think it’s made up of a number of metals, at extremely crazy temperatures. Without that, we wouldn’t have a place to live, hence no life again. Metal is like earth but is indeed much stronger a material for modern day times. No one really notices how much we rely on the Element of Metal. If you do though, great. =)
4. West - Water and Ice
Water is essential to live just as much as the other Elements. It is said that all life began in the sea. This ones pretty clear why. As for Ice, it’s not only just the solid form of ice, but a major part of our planet. We are closing this resivour of ice due to global warming. Aside this, it also serves as the temperature. Out in space, there is no heat, you would freeze and die within a moment. The Ice Element is also present in Norse Mythology. The being of time, there was only ever Ice and Fire.
5. Darkness and Lignt - the Cosmos, The Two Primal Beings
The only think faster than the Light is the Dark. The darkness was here before anything, being of all beginnings. I worship heavily to the Darkness. I seriously need people to understand that this is fair to long misunderstood. The Dark Is Not Evil. I hate how people automatically asume this without thinking about it on a deeper level. The cosmos is about positivity and negativity. Both equal and in all and every Element. Most people tend to think that the dark can be negative but it’s not. Sometimes people can find solitude. One can find peace in the dark. If your going to associate negative things with the dark, then these such things will apply. You should always try to be on the positive side of things with the Elements. Iv always walked in the Darkness and been positive about it. I feel as if this is my Element. The Darkness is a force that you can use in positive ways. All you need is positive intentions and to stay positive about it. There are others who prefer to find solitude in the light or feel that it’s there place. Darkness gave birth to the light. They are almost as equals but ones origin is a little older.
So a lot of people think Spirit is an Element to worship. While this is entirely fine, I don’t necessarily think it is to me. On a personal level, everyone else’s is totally cool with me and again I say this is just how I feel things are. This is a little bit on how I associate things in life. I also believe a bit in animism and that everything has kinda like a spirit, being an eclectic witch an all. Everything we have, everything we use, it all came from these 10 Elements, and everything of these elements has a part or a connection to each other. Everything, and I mean everything is a connected.
