IS IT WEIRD THAT LIKE, WHENEVER I THINK “clowns” I never think of them as people in makeup or costumes but like,,,, as if they’re their own species of race of creature. like fr they’re their own thing, we’re just cosplaying them.
IS THAT WEIRD?? IDK In my original universe, clowns aren’t people in costumes, they’re their own species of creature with many different breeds and races. There are the general mostly humanoid species of clowns, but the types of clowns they evolved from still exist. Big beastly things with large animalistic bodies (usually vaguely ressembling that of a lion/big cat, but like twice the size and with somewhat different proportions) and large colorful manes of frills and flashy markings and growths, topped with somewhat small and flat (ish) humanoid esc faces.
AND IG I JUST JLKSDFHAJ CNA’T THINK OF THEM ANY OTHER WAY!!! Clowns of funny little creatures and we’re just dressing up as them.
